The quality exceeded my expectations, and the measurements were precise. Although it does not allow complete privacy at night, it does block the majority of the sun coming in the window during the day, and helps keep the room cooler. I liked the blind/shade so much, I ordered the same shade for a second window.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase of these shades. I bought them for a rental of mine and my tenants are very happy not to be getting the standard 1" mini blind. I thought they would be a little more room darkening but neither are the white mini blinds I had up there before so its net zero on that factor. They make the place look higher end much better then the blinds did before. I like them overall.

Great looking, easy to install, and easy to adjust. The only drawback to these is that they offer pretty much no privacy at all--as in, I could read the writing on my husband's sweatshirt when he was on the opposite side of the closed blind. We kept them anyway and are very happy with them. We just have to remember that they are for looks and light filtering only; not for privacy.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the shades are a bit on the sheer side (i.e. let light in through the slats) but overall, they are great. We put them up in our living room, dining room, bedroom and office. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the brackets that came with the shades because the extra 1/8'' on each side caused the shades not to fit (inside mount). So, we actually screwed them in upwards, directly into the top of the window frame. That worked perfectly!
