According to the instructions, the blinds were supposed to come with two types of hardware to screw into the sides of the window or the top. The manufacturers left out the top mounting hardware, and as the measurement for the side mounting brackets was about an inch too short to attach, so I had to put wooden shims in the side.

I received these shades and hung them up by myself in two hours. I spent more time removing old brackets that were supporting some very old venetian blinds. I really like the look and the ease of the up and down release on these shades. Hopefully they will be easy to clean with my vacuum cleaner wand. Very nice!!!!

These were just a pictured and are sturdy and were fairly easy to install. I've got them paired with bright withite canvas curtains and the contrast is great. The only thing I would say is that the slats don't look as large in person as in photo. Good buy and a good deal!

We ordered these for the windows of our country retreat and have been very pleased with the product and how it limits the sun coming in through the windows. Not too much but enough for privacy. I have a lot of windows and I wanted to keep my look uniform. I have over the past months ordered all sorts of products from everywhere only to return them. I am always happy with my Overstock purchases and these shades didn't let me down. I wanted blinds that let the light in for winter but for summer it would be too much, so I placed those inexpensive disposable, accordion paper shades behind them and they work great. The only problem was the instructions for what to do with the back of shades, just read this several times to understand.

I actually purchased two different sizes of the same style shade. I was extremely pleased with the quality of these shades for the price. The top wood slat is exactly the size stated, but there is some slight overhang of the bamboo slats which require trimming if you have not left any width allowance in your measurement. The trimming is quite simple - I just used a pair of household scizzors and it trimmed right up. I would definity purchase again.
