    These blinds look great and are well priced. They're a little lighter than shown, which a few other reviewers also said, but that was good for me as I was looking for a lighter color. The color is still warm and medium tone. I would have given the blinds 5 stars, but we had a major issue with sizing. I measured my windows from inside the frame. It was 30", so I ordered 30" blinds with the understanding that there's a half inch allowance so the blinds wouldn't hit the side of the frame. Except there wasn't an allowance - my husband had to bust out the saw and trim down the top of the blind to fit it in, and now, although the blinds do go down they can get a little stuck on the side of the window frame. All in all, a good price and decent quality.

how many inches is the header valance and does some of the blind stack underneath it? crystalhfurr on Feb 9, 2012

Valance is 7 1/2 inches, and yes, when raised, the shade does stack beneath it, but does not pushe the valance out. Small side pieces of bamboo shade hides the raw edges of header and hang same length as valance. poohdink2 on Feb 1, 2013
