    • New Manufacturer - Don't Buy!

      A friend bought this chair a year ago, and it's wonderful-- well constructed, and such a statement piece. I ordered one in February 2011 and it's a completely different chair. The wood is beautiful, but the cushions are hard and 'crunchy' (yes, they crinkle when you press on them), the seat cushion doesn't match up to the back as it did on hers, and the fabric was thin and flawed in several places. I sent the first one back assuming it was a manufacturing error, but the second one was as bad as the first! Apparently Overstock switches suppliers each year, and the one they've got in 2011 does a terrible job. Ignore any reviews prior to Jan 2011 since they are referring to a very different product. Beware! To Overstock's credit, they took the chairs back and paid for return-shipping, but I wasted a lot of time building and disassembling chairs over the past week.

      This is a cheap chair. The "zebra" colors between the back and the seat do not match. The seat dark stripes are blue not black. Don't buy.

    • Nice but Big Zebra Chair

      Ordered this chair on Sat and recieved it today(thursday)..The chair was easy to put together. The color matches my zebra rug which is tanish brown and black. The bottom cushion is plush but the back cushion could have had a bit more cushion. The chair is big that even my bf who is 6'0 can barley touch the floor with his feet. But since I'am short I just cuddle up in the chair. The chair does recline so I would recommend a lil throw pillow. One of the arms came with a scratch but it's somthing I can live with. I really do like my chair and would recommend to my friends and family!

    • zebra chair

      The Chair is a great accent piece. The seat was a little taller and deeper than I thought it would be. Not so good for short or small people to sit in(their feet can't touch the ground). It works best with a small ottoman in front of it so you can sit back and recline, as the back is tilted back quite a bit. It is also more comfortable with a firm small rectangular pillow in the lumbar region. Hope this info helps!

    • Nice accent chair.

      This is a pretty chair to look at and seems to be well built but it is a very uncomfortable chair. The seat is so deep and has a weird shape that your feet don't even touch the floor. I am almost 5'6" tall and it is way too large for me. I added pillows to the back but even then you can only really sit in it at the front edge and not for very long before it becomes very uncomfortable. If you are just looking for something to use as an accent then that may be o.k. If you are looking for a chair to actually sit in for any length of time, then I would pass. I bought two for a formal living room that rarely gets used so it is alright for me. I have had compliments on the look of the chairs.

    • Great Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!

      I ordered this chair and it came broken at the arm (a huge chip of wood broken out of the arm), and scratched on the other side and back and the seat appeared to be stretched tight or something like maybe it could tear if sat in. I called their Customer Service and they were VERY helpful and understanding and ordered me another chair. I was already also upset because UPS had promised it delivered that Friday and my husband and I waited all that day and up until 9:00 that night their website tracking info said "delivery until close of business" that day...so we waited only to check at 9:30 to see it had been delayed until the following Monday =(. Anyway, the second order came on time as promised (CS sent in two days), and it came with a scratch on the back and the seat in similar condition. The chair overall is veery pretty and I love it. I agreed to keep the second one only because they didn't have any parts to send me and offered me a partial refund to keep the chair OR if I preferred, they would just refund and pick up the chair. I agreed to the partial refund to keep the chair as I really do love it...but would expect something back for the imperfections. ALL IN ALL, the chair is beautiful and their customer service is amazing to say the least....VERY IMPRESSED with how they handled this situation....I will buy from Overstock again...this was my third or fourth time to purchase from them and all times have been pleasant.

    • Classic style with modern twist

      These are very stylish chairs. I was looking for something with classic style but had a modern twist. The Zebra print hit the mark. I've gotten lots of great compliments on the chairs. I would say that a taller person would be more comfortable in these chairs as they are deep.
