As with all purchases from Overstock, the lamp came very quickly. It was super easy to put together didn't really need the directions. Super nice base. Sturdy and stylish. Not gaudy like so many floor lamps I looked at. Nice long cord. Shade is super white. Will probably change that out someday. Love it!

This lamp is a very good value, however, I was surprised by the color. I had expected the lamp to be very dark brown (bronze) as described. The lamp is the closest thing to black I've ever seen. It was very hard to discern that it wasn't actually black. I have very good lighting in my house so it is not a matter of poor lighting making the lamp appear black. The shape and style of the lamp was exactly what I wanted so I painted it the dark brown color I had expected it to be.

Overall this a great lamp for the value! One thing to note though, is that the lamp shade is DEFINETELY white not ivory. Easy to assemble and looks like it costs a lot more than it does. It is very sturdy and gets lots of compliments.

It was packed so securely and made the trip from your warehouse to my apt. in A-1 shape.I am living in a retirement home and to physically get shopping is becoming more difficult, so delivery to my door is a great service. I ordered these to pair with reproduction punched tin lamp shades and they look better than I hoped for--perfect bases!!!

The style of this lamp is perfect for my house, and it looks like very good quality. I replaced the white lamp shade with a dark red one, which makes it look even better. The top part that screws on to hold the lamp shade in place didn't work right, and Overstock quickly shipped a replacement part out without any hassle.

I ordered 2 of these floor lamps and am very happy with them.They are sturdy and elegant looking, plus they were easy to assemble.They give my living room the exact style I was looking for. I would definitely recommend these lamps as a great buy.

I would recommend this floor lamp to family and friends. It was made w/class and elegance. I like the fact that you have 3 different levels of light to choose from. It's not like your typicall floor lamp that is tall..it comes right above the sofa which gives it a nice touch. The lamp shade was make w/so much quality and I love how the base looks. It will turn any room to and elegant room. Extremely easy to assemble!!! When people walk into my living room they are amazed at this lamp and they think I paid a lot of $$$. Little do they know. (smile)

This lamp is extremely sturdy - no wobble or leaning that I've found in many other floor lamps. Was so easy to assemble, we didn't even need to look at the instructions. It looks very traditional and fits in well with our decor. Caution: even though the shade is a nice quality shade, it is VERY white, not creme at all.

I love this lamp so much I bought it for a space that doesn't even belong to me. My mother has a small alcove in her home that was crying out for a lamp and when I spied this model, I had to have it. It's the perfect height, it's sturdy, and would work in many different decors. Most floor lamps seem to fall into one extreme category or the other: sleek, modern bare-bones lamps with little character...or super ornate, fake antique-y models. This lamp, thankfully, fits neither description. It's not too formal and not too casual and the finish is not too shiny nor too flat. Just adore it. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is the included shade does not quite live up to the standard set by the beautiful base and is very VERY white. So if you're willing to purchase another shade or live with the one included, I cannot imagine being disappointed with the lamp and it looks even better than the images on the site. Do go easy when you're screwing in the finial as I was over enthused and stripped the piece straight off the screw. My fault, not the lamp's construction, and it was easily repaired. It takes a 3-way bulb which is always a plus in my book. I plan (or er, my Mom plans) to have this lamp for many, many seasons to come.

assembly easy and very affordable.. I use it in my offfice at home and use the 3 way light bulb which is a very nice extra for the lamp. Would recommend to others.

Surprisingly well made lamp for the price. White Shade had a black spot on it - I just turned the shade. Easy to assemble - the cord is already in place from the bottom to the top of the lamp. I will get another one.

I love my new lamp! It was not hard to put together at all. I did get a brown lampshade as the white one that comes with the lamp put out too much light. I wanted light, but with a softer look. It is great though, as it uses a three way bulb, so you can have it dim or bright! Great lamp, worth the money for sure!!

I shopped many retailers until i found the perfect lamp at overstock. It looks great and you cant beat the shipping charge either.

It's not as tall as I would like. The one I got was all scratched and it was missing pieces. I think I would have liked it if it wasn't in such bad condition. It was also missing the instructions, but it wasn't hard to assemble. I asked for a refund from overstock but instead, they shipped another floor lamp. Now I'm trying to return that one to get my money back. A lot of people seem to like this lamp and I probably would have too if it was taller. If you do order this lamp, hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. I just feel like I can find better.

This is a great looking lamp and we are happy with it. The only problem is it is BLACK not bronze as advertised. We did not end up using it in the room that it was intended for but luckily we had another spot for it.
