This is a beautiful piece that I just received today and couldn't wait to get it into my bedroom. It will accompany my brand new dark cherry sleigh bed set as a chest to go at the end of my bed. The leather is soft and simply georgeous! It is very sturdy and easy assembly. You will ove this piece and it's a good price for the leather and workmanship.

I was so skeptical about buying such a piece of furniture online after only seeing some tiny pictures and reading reviews. BUT...I'm so glad I took the chance! The bench is BEAUTIFUL!! I absolutely love it!!! The color is rich and the pictures here do not do it justice! It is HUGE. Thank God I had my neighbor to help me move this upstairs and into my place. It is very spacious and such a classy piece. One I plan to have around forever. My only gripes are that it is very firm--not comfy to sit on, but I got it for storage and decorative purposes so for me, the comfort level isn't a big concern. The leather is very soft and does scratch easily. My cat jumped up on it and when he jumped off, he left a couple scratches on it...and his nails are very short. I recommend a leather conditioner to help keep this looking its best. Lastly, like other reviews on here, I'm not sure what those four screws and the T wrench are for either. Maybe for the hinge on the inside if it breaks?? Not sure. The legs took 5 minutes to attach...no instructions but easy to figure out. I HIGHLY recommend this product!! It is a STEAL at this price. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I purchased this and I'm so glad I did! Make this purchase, you will not regret it! One last note: This could double as a coffee table! Yes, it is that big and that firm! LOVING IT!!!

Looks great and feels great! I was searching high and low for real leather not bi-cast or bonded leather, which really isn't leather. Only thing is overstock should include a picture of the back. The hinges are visible and not flush. Also, the description isn't accurate since this technically isn't "tufted." The leather is sewn together and not folded together and there are not buttons. Lastly, the ottoman storage area may need to be aired out for a while before you put something in the storage.

Pleased with quality and style of bench. Dark chocolate brown. Another Overstock product Guernsey Brown Bonded Leather Storage Ottoman Bench looks awefully similar (and cheaper). Bought this one due to the color. Solid construction; looks and feels like leather. You will not regret this purchase.

This bench is absolutely fabulous except for the fact that one of the legs did not attach properly, so my husband had to get a new screw and nut to make it work. If you don't mind "macguvering it". It's great. Now that it does not wobble I love it.

The color is as in the photos. Leather seems to of good quality, construction is tight and cushioning on top is very firm and comfortable (my kids want to sleep on it). At around 60 pounds and four feet long, its a lot heavier and a bit larger than I expected. Top fits snuggly and stays open by itself when opened. Note: you cannot push this bench against a wall and open the top -- it needs to stand 2 inches away. Assembly takes only 5 minutes with a large screwdriver (four large bolts hold feet on). Mine came with a package of small wood screws and an allen wrench that I haven't found a use for.

Easily one of the best purchases I have ever made. Storage bench has beautiful stately looking leather, is well constructed, extremely easy to assemble (attach legs), unbelievably low priced, with fantastic delivery. Can't get any better than that!!! NOTE: there are no buttons, but that is a plus to me. Thank you for a wonderful buy!!!!!!!!!

Love this leather storage bench. Bought it to put at the end of my new king size bed. It is a perfect size. The storage area is great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a bench of this size. Well made.

I looked alot online and narrowed it down to this one and another. I was not too sure the color would match but it is a rich dark brown and it goes well with my expresso bedroom set. The other one looked darker, but cheaper. This one is great. The length is great with my kingsize bed and the storage is deep and great for other pillows. I am very satisfied.

The bench shipped very fast. I was shocked to see it weighed close to 80 pounds. Very solid. Very high quality.

Bought this to put at the foot of my bed. I also had a small office space in my bedroom and needed a classy place to store files. This is perfect! It is well made and good quality. I've had it for nearly a year and I absolutely love it. Would absolutely recommend!!

Very great storage chest for the price. It is very heavy and solid, but the discription did not match. The discription said "leather" but it was made of "all man made materials." Dispite this, I would order it again, you can't get anything this quailty for any less.

Nice item , easy assembly, all hardware and tool included (1 long bolt for each leg). I changed the legs / feet on this bench from square blocks to bun shaped legs / feet ... easier on the toes if one stumbles into it barefoot in the middle of the night. Hinges are what the description says, interior also. Top is well padded and makes comfortable seating for dressing. I put this bench at the foot of my bed, great for storing extra / seasonal bedding. My only negative comment is that it would be more attractive with top grain leather instead of bi cast leather which has a shiny layer of polyurethane applied to thin leather. Granted it makes the leather more resistant to staining, but it does have that richness in appearance that top grain leather has, nor will it develop a patina over time. If this is not a concern, then I would say, by all means, go for it. I watched this item drop in price from $xxx to $xxxx before i would buy it. I feel i got my money's worth. Also I cannot comment on if it had an odor or not because I had stored it in the carton in the garage for a few months before bringing it into the house. At that point there was none, if there ever was one to begin with.

I love the bench. I am using it to store guest linens for the sleeper sofa in my living room . It multi-tasks as the coffee table. It is a great addition to my small condo.

This item is better in person than the pictures. It is rich, very well made and very sturdy. Lots of storage space and fits perfectly at the end of a bed.

Came on the day it was forecast to come. Solid construction, easy assembly. Opens and closes easily and lid stays up when open. Hinges are a bit shaky, but don't seem like they'll be an issue since most of the weight of the lid is supported by the ends.

This is a beautifully made bench with a bunch of storage space; and the (4) feet screwed on with ease. I currently use the bench in my entry way and everyone loves it.

It's the perfect size at the foot of our queen-sized bed. Just had to screw on the little feet, but it only took about 5-10 minutes. It's in great condition and looks more expensive than it really was. Great deal!

I was looking for a long storage bench for the end of our queen bed. This one was a very good price and is what seems so far to be good quality leather. My daughter had puchased one a year ago for her new house, and Overstock still carried it. Shipped quickly, very well packed. Only assembly was putting on the legs, which went very smoothly. It is rather heavy and substantial with a far more expensive look and feel than you would expect for the price.
