Assembly required
Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight and maintain at least two feet between furniture and heat sources. Aniline and Protected leathers are especially sensitive to direct sunlight. Use a professional cleaner to help resist staining and prevent overall soiling.

Did not last long
I purchased this ottoman approximately a little over a year ago, and I loved it. After about 3 months one of the tufted buttons fell off. I glued it on, and placed a tray over it. Now the "leather" has split in one place and looks like it is seperating in other spots. It does take some wear and tear from grandchildren sitting on it, but nothing crazy. I thought this might be of help to someone.

beautiful, but will it last?
I had been looking for an ottoman coffee table for a while. I weas very excited to find this and the price and size were great. It was easy to assemble and the legs are very pretty and similar to the legs on my high price dining table. But, today, about a week after receiving it, i notice that one of the buttons on the top had popped off and taken the tufting with it. i called customer service. They were wonderful- ready to refund my money with just my word. I love it and want another one. I no longer have the original box to send this one back. The rep said, "don't worry, I will expedite delivery of the new one and then you put the old one in the box and we will have UPS pick it up from you". That is great service. Lets hope the next one isn't defective.

beautiful ottoman
Would have given this an "excellent" rating but for the fact that some of the material on the top piece laps over where it meets the wood and is obvious, the rest of the ottoman is just what I wanted in looks and material. It was really easy to put together and hope to enjoy it for years. Have gotten many compliments on it's appearance and heft of the ottoman, so I would recommend this ottoman. It is classy looking and I love it!

Great ottoman! I will be using this as a coffee table as the height is appropriate. The shelf is a great feature. The tufting is subtle yet beautiful. Excellent customer service at overstock as they were very willing to resolve the shipping issue I had with my purchase. Highly recommend purchasing this AND from this website!

Good but not great
I love the ottoman, but was disappointed in a few things: First the tufting was a little off center. The gap between the buttons and the long edge of the ottoman is greater on one side than the other. Fortunately, by simply placing the side with the larger gap closest to my sofa (it is open on the other side), it virtually disappears. Probably wouldn't work so well if you have furniture on both sides. Second, the description says you can use it with or without the lower shelf. I tried it both ways, but when you remove the shelf and attempt the screw the lower leg directly into the upper leg, there is a small gap. As my husband pointed out, no one would notice it unless they were crawling around on the floor. I worried too about dust getting in there; it would be impossible to clean. Needless to say, I'll be using it with the shelf. Overall I'm pleased with the ottoman and would probably buy it again.
