I purchased this ottoman approximately a little over a year ago, and I loved it. After about 3 months one of the tufted buttons fell off. I glued it on, and placed a tray over it. Now the "leather" has split in one place and looks like it is seperating in other spots. It does take some wear and tear from grandchildren sitting on it, but nothing crazy. I thought this might be of help to someone.

I had been looking for an ottoman coffee table for a while. I weas very excited to find this and the price and size were great. It was easy to assemble and the legs are very pretty and similar to the legs on my high price dining table. But, today, about a week after receiving it, i notice that one of the buttons on the top had popped off and taken the tufting with it. i called customer service. They were wonderful- ready to refund my money with just my word. I love it and want another one. I no longer have the original box to send this one back. The rep said, "don't worry, I will expedite delivery of the new one and then you put the old one in the box and we will have UPS pick it up from you". That is great service. Lets hope the next one isn't defective.

I absolutely love this ottoman! It gives my living room a very sophisticated look. The ottoman is very heavy, made of solid wood. The leather is soft but firm. This ottoman seems very durable and sturdy.

The first ottoman we received had a serious flaw in the wood finish. Once notified Overstock.com immediately sent another ottoman as well as a truck to pickup the first one. The exchange was simple and entirely online. The replacement ottoman is just as described, a very nice product for this price. The only caveat I would mention is that if you do want to assemble it without the lower shelf you will have a noticeable gap on the legs though it could be fixed if you are handy and can either switch out the screws or drill a deeper hole.

This took no time to assemble and it's very intuitive to do so. It's a handsome piece of furniture and goes well with most everything. It has the right amount of formality and casualness. It's firm enough to sit on, but enough cushion for resting your feet. It's higher than most ottomans I've seen, but the height measurement is given in the description, so I knew what I was getting. And the shelf is a great PLUS; not many ottomans come with a shelf.

I was looking for a center table that is safe with kids around and still look stylish. By far this is the best choice i made for our living room. It's not like an ordinary, plain piece of leather at all. I have been looking for a coffee table/ottoman for several months. I finally thought about looking at Overstock.com and so glad I did. I love my coffee table/ottoman. It fits great in my study in front of my love seat. I use the shelf underneath to hold my extra throw pillows. It is a very nice piece of furniture.

perfect size ottoman with shelf. Looks so classy in room & functions so well as a coffee table & a place to rest your feet on. My living room is small so this works perfect for my sectional plus has the storage on it. The item did come a little damaged which I realize can happen & called the company & they were awesome & replaced it right away. Great customer service & would buy from them again. I shopped at length in physical furniture stores as well as target, etc. to find an ottoman for my living room. I knew exactly what I wanted the ottoman to look like but also knew that given its purpose it had to be well made and hold up to use. I learned that 'leather' ottomans from even high end furniture stores use bonded leather like this one but found that many of the leather-look ottomans from retail stores looked cheap and often were poorly crafted. This took me no time at all to assemble (it really is just a matter of screwing on the legs and shelf), and the final product rivals that of any I have seen. I also think the legs and shelf give it a differentiated look from many standard ottomans so for all the price shopping I did, I don't know that you could find anything similar for less.

This is bonded leather, which is basically a pulp of leather pieces adhered to a vinyl surface. The description says "leather" which this is not. HOWEVER, I wanted bonded leather as I have small kids who I am sure will color, spill, and jump on this ottoman. You can clean bonded leather with windex, and it is much more strong than real leather. When they are grown I will get more expensive furniture. For now, this is a very good-looking piece, and it is big and feels sturdy. We really like the shelf too.

We got this and easily put the legs on. Then we noticed that two of the buttons were missing. My husband called.They quickly sent us a label to send it back free of charge. We did so and they sent us another. It is very nice. Bigger than I expected cheaper price than we would have found in stores.. It is not that comfortable to sit on, but we are primarily using it as a footrest/table- not a seat. We love it! It makes us feel rich!

This is exactly what I wanted for my family room. It looks great and the quality of the leather and wood exceeded expectations. However, there is an optional shelf that you can put on the bottom. I chose not to use it but had a problem with the feet because rather than meeting flush against each other there was a very big gap between the two sections of the feet where the shelf would go if you chose to use it. As per the paperwork included, I called the manufacturer and explained the issue. They were very nice and cooperative and sent out 4 new feet, free of charge of course. While the new sets aren't perfect, they are much better than the original ones and are fine. I am pleased with the purchase overall.

Nice, heavy and sturdy ottoman, looks exactly as pictured. It was very easy to put together. If you choose not to use the shelf there wasn't a gap in the legs as they screwed together. We have only had it for a few weeks but it seems like it will hold up, we have three kids and they jump all over it.

It looks very nice, even the color is a little bit darker than my sofa, still looks very good. I had looked for a ottoman with shelf which could keep some newspaper or other stuff. This is the right one.

I haven't had it for a full month yet, but I have enjoyed it! It filled a space in our living room quite nicely. I can sit on it, but I mostly use it for my food trays when we are in the living room! The shelf is perfect to stash and stack my large collection of magazines! It was also very easy to put together, feels solid, does not scratch easily (I have a cat, so that is something I notice RIGHT AWAY). It was heavy though -- I could not get it up the stairs alone.
