I bought 4 of these stools two years ago. They are very pretty, with durable leather, but the rest of the chair is not holding up. The seats have started sinking and are not comfortable to sit in for very long because the filling has started to collapse. But the worst is the legs. The cross bars, which you rest your feet on and which my kids use to climb onto the stool are falling off. The screws don't hold together for very long, and we've resorted to wood glue, but even that is temporary. Bottomline: nice stools if they are not going to get much use, but if you have kids and need something durable, I would not recommend.

The chairs once assembled are very handsome, sturdy and seem well made as well as are comfortable. They are the perfect seats for counter height bar -- taller than table chairs, lower than bar stools, we were looking for ages and are happy with this find. The photos are very accurate to the end product; the minus two stars is based on assembly. The instructions are difficult to decipher and need to be read and re-read a few times before even beginning the process. Putting the chairs together took two of us, over an hour a stool -- we order two pairs. Of the four stools ordered, one is slightly wobbly -- even after taking the seat apart and reassembling. We decided to remedy the balance with added padding under one of the legs. All in all, three out of four with good balance we thought was an OK ratio, would have preferred all four to have been in perfect condition.

We bought these chairs for our island breakfast bar and they are just perfect! Not only do they look impressive, but they are very comfortable to sit on and easy to clean. A beautiful addition to our loft!! Highly recommended for value and high style.

These chairs are great. They came quickly, were easy to assemble. The leather is very soft. Very comfortable. My only regret is not ordering another set and now they are out.

These chairs look great and are very comfortable, but there is a problem with the leg support attachments. They seem to dry fit correctly, but the screw holes do not allow for a proper/flush fit to the chair legs once you screw them together, so there is a gap. I tried various configurations in case it was operator error, but they are definitely assembled as intended so there must be a defect with my set. I would recommend them if not for this problem, but it's significant so I would suggest steering clear. I now need to bring them to someone who can do something more technical to make it sturdy; one leg support became disconnected after using the pub chair a few times.

The chairs are made out of soft wood and the lacking of cushioning makes it uncomfortable to sit on them.

Chairs look great, the reviews guided me into understanding that the colour would be espresso not a medium brown or black as I might have thought from the pictures. Quality of lether and finish are quite good. Once assembled, I am very happy with the product. Assembly was somewhat difficult, a few screws pulled the anchors out, the boxes arrived fairly pulverized but taped back together. Though I expected pieces missing all was there. Legs wobbled, this was fairly easily handled by removing factory (cheap) feet and replacing with quality plastic pieces purchased form a hardware store, and by placing a small plastic piece or washer under the short leg. Although assembly was difficult, and I did encounter these quality issues, I felt the value of what I got was good to excellent and I am happy with the purchase. People comment on the class, elegance and luxury of these pieces, very good for that cost. Micahel

Forget about furniture stores - what a ripoff! These chairs are awesome, fairly simple to setup and look like you spent a fortune. One of the four chairs we bought was missing a few parts - after contacting overstock they arrived within 7 days. Family/friends all comment positively without prompting. I would highly recommend these.

These chairs were better than expected for both quality and appearance. They look both traditional and have a contemporary flair, which was what I was after for my kitchen counter. The leather is good quality and the cherry wood finish blend well with other woods. Perfect height , very comfortable,and the look I was after. They did take time to assemble, which I am forever grateful to my husband! For the price, great value and appearance! Quick shipping , too! Very pleased with my purchase from Overstock!

The main discrepency in the add and the chairs is they are NOT BLACK, They are really esspresso brown. How ever they still worked for me and the hassle of returning them was not worth it. The chairs are nice looking unless you're really picky and notice that the stitching is not perfectly symetrical. Otherwise nice chairs.

These chairs are exactly what I wanted--they are comfortable and attractive.

I was very pleased with the quality of these stools. The price was very good for this type of seating.
