This is a fantastic mattress protector. My husband and I highly recommend! We've been using it for about 8 months and really like it. Some mattress protectors that offer liquid protection make horrible noises but this one doesn't. The finish on it is great, very soft. Highly recommend!

I purchased this protector for our new Tempurpedic mattress. We got the basic style mattress, but it still comes with a 20 year warranty. So we wanted the most protective topper we could find. This one fills the bill. It's soft and cozy microfiber and fits the 8 inch queen mattress perfectly. It is not hot like other plastic waterproof pads we have had. Very comfortable.

I have purchased several of these mattress protectors specifically to fit over memory foam mattress pads. The elastic is very accomodating for all size mattresses. I have read other reviews that claim these pads do not breathe well and cause sweating. I have not experienced any of these problems. I rated the fabric quality as a 3 because it does make a plastic noise for the first few weeks. But it eventually goes away.

I looked at other mattress protectors at mattress and department stores and this one stands up to their best. I was a little leery about the lining being hot or noisy, but neither is a problem--at all. It's luxurious and comfortable. It's too bad that you put sheets over it because the chenille-like surface not only looks great but has a great feel as well. The sides are deep enough for my extra-deep mattress. The pad stays in place and doesn't shift around. All in all, I couldn't be more satisfied. Happiness at one-third the price of the stores!

I ordered based on previous reviews and I am truly happy that I did. It is a prefect fit for a queens size mattress, no crackling sound, keeps me cool, a pleasure to own.

I do like this bed protector a great deal. Even though it has a waterproof lining it is not noisy at all. However, I do have some difficulty keeping it on the bed. If you do tend to move around alot this product will come off mattress.I find this Mattress protector to be very comfortable to sleep on and I "do not" tend to sweat like I have in the past with other protectors.I have not had to wash this product as of yet so i can't comment on it's durability over a period of several washes.Overall, this product is worth buying and I would recommend it to friends & Family!!!

Purchased the queen size mattress pad. Has a plastic membrane like many waterproof sheets but it does breathe-we never noticed that we got sweaty underneath when sleeping on it. The plastic is soft , quiet and not crinkly like some other waterproof material. The cloth surface on top is almost like cotton terry and comfortable. A liquid spill did not soak thru to the mattress. Overall well pleased with purchase. Mite protection is a plus. We washed it once and it seems to survive just fine without damage in a front loader

Purchsed this for my son as he moved from his crib to big boy bed at age 3yrs old. One year later he is 95 % potty trained. The biggest challenge is staying dry at night which works three out of 4 nights. This mattress pad is water proof for those nights when he needs the extra protection and washes well. His new memory foam mattress is protected and in good shape.

This mattress pad fits the mattress nicely, however you should know that the microfiber top does not have any "padding" qualities. It is however, noise free, which is unusual for a waterproof cover. Best part about this item is it's made in the USA.( a pleasant suprise, since I love being able to buy American)!!!!

We are very pleased with this purchase. We bought a 4" memory foam topper (from overstock.com) for our queen-sized bed and we needed something to protect this investment. We viewed and reviewed several available mattress protectors in store and online. It was the reviews of this particular product that helped us to narrow down our decision and purchase this particular protector. It is soft and comfortable and does not take away from the memory foam capabilities of our mattress topper. We had purchased a protector at a store prior to this and had to return it, for it was way too noisy and crackly with each turn we made and not comfortable at all, as if we were sleeping on Pampers!. We are appreciative of the reviews made available on overstock.com, for it definitely helped us to make our decision. We accidentally did spill some liquids on our bed, and we are pleased to say that the protector did protect our topper and the topper did not get wet at all! We have not washed this protector yet, so we can not speak for its durability. By the given measurements of this product online, we had to purchase a King size protector to fit our queen sized bed. We truly are happy that we found something comfortable to protect our topper! Thank you!

I paid a lot more money for a twin dust mite proof cover for my son's bed, so this was a great value.The top is plushy (if that's a word!) and soft. Even though you have the protection of vinyl, it does not feel like it at all.

This is one of the better "mattress protector" products out there. I would recommend it for folks that are mostly concerned about good mattress protection and not cushy padding, which it does not have. The quality of the fabric is great and has deep pockets which makes it fit great on my bed.

I dont think you can buy a better cover. And when you consider the price- there is no way you can get one as good as this else where. Its soft, and fits my extra padded queen mattress.

initially, after the arrival of my new mattress, i had purchased a waterproof, stainproof, dust mite-proof mattress encasement for well over $75 from one of those bed and bath stores. while i liked that it would have covered even the bottom of the mattress, i had to return it when i saw this deal on overstock.com. this mattress protector/pad is great! it has a soft, high quality top and stretchy sides that fit easily over even the tallest mattresses (mine's 13") and is virtually seamless when on the mattress. the soft top has a lining underneath that's seemingly water/stainproof (i hope i never have to find out). i washed it before putting it on my bed - it held up really well through the washer and dryer on low heat. i think i'm still getting used to the comfort aspect of it though - it seemed to "firm up" my plush bed a little because it has less padding than my old mattress cover (and i guess the waterproof lining makes it a little firmer as well). but i hear no sound at all coming from the waterproof lining, which is wonderful. all in all, i think it's a great purchase at a good value. my first purchase from overstock, and i'll be back for more!

Purchased mainly because I needed a full XL and this was my only choice. The price was lower than other full XL's I have found in other stores. I was glad the pad sides are made of real material, probably a stetch nylon, and not that paper/interfacing type fabric I have in other mattress pads. This means I won't accidentally be poking holes in the side fabric. Fit is acceptable. I normally use my sewing machine to modify Queen sheets and pads to obatin full XL perfect fit. This is not necessary with this full XL pad. Time will tell if I like the wear of the non-quilted microfiber pad. Reminds me of a short napped terry cloth top.

I have bought (2) of these now. One for myself and one for my father- in -law. We both love them. I have had mine for about ten months while he has had his about one month. I know it is simply a protector, but it does add some padding to the overall mattress. It is made of a relatively thick material that seems to be impervious to liquids, although we have not tried it yet. I would recommend this to accompany any mattress purchase. I bought Overstocks 14" pillow top memory foam mattresses to use these protectors on and they fit very well.

Who wouldn't love a matress pad that is soft, warm, cuddly, and covers thoseirritating buttons that stick in your side that are on that mattress you bought? Ifyou feel the way I do about mattress buttons, this mattress pad is the one foryou. Even if it didn't come with that long warrantee, I would still purchase it. I waseven thinking when winter comes of taking off my bottom sheet and using the nicesoft material that is used on the mattress pad as a warm flannel blanket instead ofbottom sheet. In fact, I plan on purchasing more for our cottage up north for the winter.Here's something everyone will thank you for buying. I know I would!Linda Mesa, AZ
