  • Nice Little Recliner

I purchased this recliner for my mother who is 4 feet 7 inches, and it was a perfect fit for her. If you are tall or very tall this is not the recliner for you. This recliner is easy to assemble. It comes in two pieces. The only thing I'm not so crazy about is that it is not a tall recliner, so when you place the recliner next to my mothers sectional sofa the armrest do not match up with armrest on the sectional making this recliner look even smaller

    • Did the color match the color displayed onsite? yes
    • How is the quality of the product? Average to good
    • Did the description onsite accurately describe the product? yes
  • Functional recliner/chair

Easy to assemble and move around as needed...fits in small spaces also. I'm 6' and 195# and I find it comfortable...so what that my feet overhang, they also hang over on my large recliner! Not to live or sleep on but to just sit or recline comfortably this is what the Dr. ordered. Don't understand all the comments about it being small...I guess many people like 'big stuff' and are not satisfied otherwise.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? spot on
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. average
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? very
  • Nice chair, just a little small

This chair is very comfortable and can fit well in a small space - it doesn't need a lot of room behind it to recline, but it does recline very well and comfortably. Overall I think this chair is extremely comfortable, but it is not for tall people; I would say anyone over 5'10" (just my guess) would not be comfortable in this chair. I'm 5'5" and I fit perfectly in it. Aside from the height issue it is really nice.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? the same I think
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very comfortable, feels pretty solid/sturdy
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate
  • Sage Recliner

I just received my two recliners, and so far I am impressed with what I paid for, they are nice and soft and big enough for my two hundred pound something husband, they will work, was so very easy to put together, just snap together no screwdriver,no nuts and bolts, perfect.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Perfect
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very nice for the price
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Perfect
  • Save Your Money

This recliner is so small, it could pass for a children's chair. If I had known this, I would have saved my money and gotten a full-size recliner at a local score for roughly the same price. I have never been so disappointed with an Overstock purchase as I am with this chair. My wife convinced me to keep it so our kids can use it, far from my original intentions in buying it. Oh well. Live and learn.

Definitely a child size chair. If you are buying this for a child, its a good value.

  • Comfy and nice looking, good bargain

Bought this for my 84 year old mother. She does not need a chair that will last 20 years, so a budget chair was just right. She liked the fit (she is a bit heavy set), the size, the color and the fabric. She liked having a release latch mechanism for the leg rest, instead of a handle that's hard to reach. She liked the height (low enough for her feet to be flat on the floor with the leg rest retracted). She did not mind that the reclining position is a modest tilt but not totally prone. Only negative for her was how much pressure needs to be applied to get the leg rest to retract (it pushes down easily, but will not latch without a last good push with your legs or hand. This was difficult for her, the spring is quite strong). I am planning to get another one for myself to replace my old reading chair. I am not a "recliner' sort of girl, but I really like this chair. I am 56 and in good health save my bum right knee which benefits from a recliner now. The leg rest retraction is not an issue for me. I would recommend this to others. Best recliner you will find for under $200.

  • comfortable inexpensive recliner

For the price point this s a very nice recliner. Agree this may not be suitable tor a very large frame person but OK for anyone else. I am 5'9 with a 40 inch waist and this sofa is comfortable. Also if the person has very long legs; their legs might overhang the leg rests. For me it overhangs little above my ankle. The sofa appears sturdy. The appearance looks fine. The sofa came in a box with no padding but nothing was damaged. The recliner was loosely wrapped with torn plastic wraps and has an appearance of a return or refurbished item. Otherwise than that the sofa reclines fine at 2nd position and difficult to fully recline to 3rd position. The recliner is easy to reset to seating position by pushing down on the foot rest.

  • Not Worth The Money

The chair is cheaply made, it doesn't rock it only reclines, it's not comfortable at all and the fabric is horrible. My dogs won't even lay in it!!! Save your money and put toward a decent chair.

I received this recliner today. Comments state three positions. I am only able to recline to one position. In addition, is there an easy way to bring it back to its upright (2nd) position? So, 2 questions: How to get the other reclining position, and how to return to upright without someone's assistance? Would really appreciate these two answers. Thanks! lyndhurst24 on Sep 8, 2014

Are the dimensions of the chair accurate? Some are saying that it's a small chair but according to the listed dimensions it would appear to be a fairly large or regular size chair. budrovic1 on Feb 25, 2014

Answer This Question

Thank you for shopping with us budrovic1. I checked the other colors and styles of the Tucker Recliner and they all have the same dimension. It is not a large chair but more average when thinking of a recliner. Have a great day. overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 11, 2014
It is the perfect size for me. I am 5"6" and about 30 pounds overweight. I can sit in it and have extra room on either side. A very tall person might find it to be too short when it is in a reclining position. My feet are right at the end when fully reclined. For an average to somewhat overweight person of middle height, it is a good size. cjgriffith1 on Mar 21, 2014
It is a regular size chair control123 on Apr 18, 2014
it is a great chair for people of average height. I wouldn't buy it if I were over 5 foot eight. redfox39 on May 19, 2014
I think the size is average. I find it very comfortable. I am 5'5'' and weigh 155 lbs. A taller person may have a little too much overhang on the foot rest. pizzamom11 on May 24, 2014
