silly but very functional
I love these! I don't really care about the animal design, but the silicone is definitely the most effective pot holder material, and these are a very reasonable price for silicone pot holders. I've had them for over a year and they haven't worn out in the slightest. Just be careful if you have big hands, because they might not come down all the way.

Silicone Pot Grabber is ONE only, not a set of 2!
Okay, first off I want to say that this is an excellent product, perfect for quickly grabbing the handles of corning ware or Pyrex type baking dishes to move them a bit in the oven or to quickly lift out of the oven to put on the stove top. Bear in mind however that these only cover the fingers and up to the knuckles, not the complete hand. They are also handy for holding the handle of cast iron skillets while they remain on the stove. But if you need full hand protection to lift something very heavy or longer than for a few seconds in a hot oven, I recommend the silicone pot holders that fit over the whole hand to shield you from the hot temperatures. Secondly, I didn't pay close attention to the quantity as I thought since it showed two of them in the photo, and the price being what it was that these were a set of two, not just one each. My bad, but that made it twice as expensive to me. Third, I was confused about the color options. Just looking at the photo, I thought the...

These pot grabbers are superior. Very thick rubber that protects your a hands from heat when using them. They are better than other ones on the market I had previously bought.
