What should have taken 15 minutes to assemble took 2 hours because every leg was too big for the holes. My husband had to grind each one down to fit. There was a dent on the side of the lower shelf and a scratch across the top shelf. I turned the cart around to hide the dent and put a mat under my coffeemaker to cover up the scratch. If the table had been in undamaged shape and properly machined in production I would have given it 10 stars. It's concept of great, just needs quality improvement....

Easy to put together, no dents at all. Still can't figure out the casters, but wasn't planning on using them anyway. The bottoms slide a little which is frustrating and its not the best quality in the world, but great for the money and a fun addition to my large kitchen/dining room.

I have seen tables like this one sell for hundreds more and could not under stand why. Now I know. They had to send me two of these because the first one was badly dented. Overstock customer service was excellent in handling this issue by the way. The second one had a slight bend in the table top but not bad enough for me to return. One of the wheels did not have threads to screw into the leg of the table. Luckily I still had the first table and swapped out one of the wheels. I have not used my table yet but plan on using it mostly outside next to my BBQ. I am not too sure how the wheels will perform exposed to the elements. The table top has two cross support brackets in the center that are glued, not tack welded to the bottom of the table top and is already coming apart from the table top causing it to "bounce" and make that sheet metal sound, like thunder. The table top and shelf are held onto the legs by allen screws and how tight you screw them on. There is no predrilled holes for the screws and installing the shelf is a little tricky. You need a friend and a measuring tape to get it level. Only time will tell how good it will do but I am not to confident in what I see so far.
Didn't have any dents when it arrived, and it was a sinch to put together. Casters are a bit large, and sets the table up to 40" which was even too high for my husband of 6'3". The regular feet work fine, though small and needing coasters underneath to keep it from sliding around on the floor. Very sturdy table, nice quality legs. I didn't realize how easy the table-top would be to scratch, though. I guess that is just the nature of the beast with stainless steel, so we are really happy with it. It is a wonderful place to make cookies and things with my daughter. Very nice and accessible!
I spent a LONG time looking for just the right work table to add to my eclectic apartment kitchen. I couldn't be happier with this one. I arrived without a scratch on the beautiful stainless finish, is of excellent quality, and I LOVE the locking casters, that allow me to move it to clean behind it or even take it into the living room to use as a bar for a party! The height is SO NICE really saves my back when I'm chopping veggies or rolling out a pie crust. Several people have complimented me on how it looks, but what I love is how it works! The perfect size, shape, height. And the bottom shelf so handy for those big pots that won't fit anywhere else. (It's adjustable.) LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
I ordered this table for use in my garage/laundry. The table arrived this afternoon and I put it together by myself with little trouble. Very straight forward. The only tool required was included. I believe this table will be a big help to me. It looks great and rolls easily and I believe it will be easy to keep clean so that I can fold laundry right out of the dryer. Highly recommend!
My mother wanted a stainless steel kitchen island for the kitchen in our new home. This was a great value, I love that it has casters included. It was easy to assemble. It is higher than I was expecting (higher than the counters in our kitchen), but my mother loves it, so I am happy.
I wanted a prep table. I liked the way that this stainless steel table looked and ordered it after reading the reviews. My husband and I inspected the table. There were no dents or deforms. My husband put it together and said it was simple to do. The table is sturdy and cleans up very easily with a wet cotton cloth. Then I dry it off. I love this table.
it is not difficult to assemble just check the ends, one of those ends is removable and that is if you want to keep it stationary keep them on or remove and add the rollers. Measure how far you want it the 2nd shelf off the floor, 3 inches was ideal for me. I think that it is extra tall at the waist with the rollers on, but if I remove them and simply add the stationary ones back, it will be just right. I think for now, I am out of energy to do another move. It is nice, will be a great addition since I need a space to handle foods.
First, right out of the box the top shelf had two dents, a minor dent in one corner and then a not so minor dent in the middle. I had to decide, do I repack it and send it back or do I just keep it as is. I took a rubber mallard and banged the dent out which was fairly easy given how thin the sheet metal is. I live alone on a studio and have very limited counter space so I purc this unit for spreading out when I'm try to make something to eat. So it serves it's imtended purpose. If I knew then what I know now I would not buy this.
I bought this table for our utility/laundry room. It is sturdy and well made, easy to assemble. However it is very tall which make sense since it is a a "prep" table designed for standing and working in a kitchen. So it is actually a little too tall for how I I intended to use it. I should have paid more attention to the height measurement. It will still get good use in our house.
This is a great prep table/server: it is attractive and durable stainless steel that includes a casters kit so it roll wherever needed. I love how I can use it in the kitchen, dining room or out on the patio - so versatile! This thing will last 50+ years and look great!
I bought two of these; one for me and one for my daughter. Almost put it together by myself but needed help holding the bottom shelf in place while securing it. (I'm a 58 year old grandmother) We both love the tables! They're sturdy and seem to be high quality. Look super, just as in the picture.
