LOVE these!
I wanted some kind of lanterns to hang in our backyard for a party, ordered one set and after they arrived decided we wanted more! They were so cool! I ordered 2 more sets, hung them all in the trees around our backyard and just waited for sunset. Awesome! If we want them to glow for an extended time we do have to take them down and lay them in the sun to power them up more, naturally, but even just hanging in the trees during the day they are great too. Everyone comments on how cool they look and are surprised to know they are solar powered.

Great Lights
Great lights. Have them hanging off gutter on roof top deck. Not very bright. Soft white glow to create nice atmosphere.

Tough little lanterns
I purchased these lanterns as adjunct lighting for our pergola. I figured the light would not be that strong and this is true but it creates a cozy atmosphere. We live in a very windy area and have had several serious storms lately. These little lanterns have survived wind gusts up to 30 miles an hour and have hung on. Some of the wire ballasts inside the lantern to give it its square shape have come loose but these lanterns have literally taken a pounding and the fact that they are still attached and light every night is a testament to their strength.

Silk Laterns
Emphasis should be on the word 'lantern'. The light quality is bad and only for decoration purposes. Also one of the three laterns stopped working after a week, despite having enough sunlight. Would propably not buy it again.

Functional and Attractive
These solar lights create a wonderful atmosphere on our deck and emit sufficient light without being overly dominant. They have received numerous positive comments from our friends. One night we took them off the deck and brought them into the house for a party. They were terrific for the ambience.

Stay Lit All Night
One of the reviewers mentioned that these are not boxes, they unfold accordion-like. That was an important description detail for me, so I'm including it. I hung these at the end of my porch, where they get sun all day, then glow all night. I've already gotten compliments. The light is NOT really very bright. I wouldn't expect to light an area with these unless I had a LOT of them, but the lamps themselves look great, glowing in the dark, and do give a little light, since the bulb shines out through the hole in the bottom. Will probably buy more. They look neat in the daytime, swinging in the wind, and even neater in the dark, glowing in the night.

Lovely setting
These lights set a lovely tone for a summer party. They give off enough light to get around, but not too much to loose ambience.

Very pretty but very low light
These are really pretty, larger than expected, and the only complaint is that the light they emit is extremely low. Hung all three outside of patio doors and they look great but don't provide much light at all.

Not too bright
They r not very bright. I have three in one tree and still need candle light when entertaining. Great mood lighting.
