In agreement with the Dallas,TX 10/9/2013 review. I rarely write reviews but potential buyers need to know. Purchased 4 chairs. The pros: interesting design/style. Stylish dove grey color. The cons: legs were not the same length on 3 of the 4 chairs, causing the chairs to wobble.(Note: I used a professional assembly company to assemble = not a consumer error.) Attempted to compensate by purchasing felt for the bottom of each chair. That did not work. 2 of the 4 chairs had cracked rubberwood frames on the chair backs. 2 of the 4 chairs had ripped cloth on the underside of the seat that covers the foam and support. All of the chairs had stapled nailhead trim, not genuine nailhead trim. It's a hassle to return anything, but this return is even more of a hassle because you need a large vehicle to deliver the chairs to the UPS Store for return shipping. Busy professionals don't have time for this nonsense. Overstock needs to alert the manufacturer to do quality control at the Chinese plant that manufactured these chairs.
I ordered the 7 piece dining set and the 2 extra chairs. We got the two chairs before we got the 7 piece set. One of the chairs had a nail whole alignment issue. The legs were shorter by inches. The chairs wobbled... even after turning them upright and tightening. They felt unsteady when we sat in them. Each leg is held into the base with 2 screws. The fabric is a grey tweed, not ultra trendy or modern but totally a transitional fabric. I was so disappointed. I really wanted to love this purchase.
I thought I was getting good value for money only because I thought the price was comparable to others chairs I have been looking at. I put my chairs together on Christmas Eve, just looking at the underside I immediately discovered shoddy construction. After putting them together 3 of the 6 were rocking because all the legs were not on the ground. I did not worry about that too much. On Christmas while sitting for dinner the the rear leg broke off my chair. The only thing I can say is that these are not good items that were overstocked but cheaply made products that should never be sold on overstock where buyers are hoping for quality product
Love these dove grey chairs. Modern, sophisicated, and comfortable. Price good for set of two. I display these chairs on the ends of my glass dining room table with two black leather parson chairs (also purchased from Overstock) on each table side. They are fairly comfortable with a wide seat. I gave it 4 stars due to the fabfroc liner under the seat bottom could be finished better and the chair legs wobble slightly (which can easily be adjusted).
These chairs look fantastic, but DO NOT BUY THEM!!! We purchased the full dining set and after only 3 uses, 2 of our chairs have broken legs. They are cheaply made and although they are stylish and I love the table they came with, these chairs are not worth your money AT ALL.
