The shade cloth allowed more quality garden produce and saved on water usage. Unprotected summer veggies cook in small Inland Empire gardens before many are harvested. With the sun shade, the produce tolerates the sun better and prevents some water evaporation from the soil. We enjoyed more hot house tomatoes this year than ever before. I recommend using the shade cloth over any desert veggie garden.

This product is made of a very durable and sleek looking material. It came with the necessary hardware to put up, and the color is better than I expected. I am looking forward to putting it up soon. In that regard, I cannot comment on the quality of shade or the area it will cover. Would, so far, recommend it to a friend as a really great option for shade that can be easily removed for storage and/or cleaning.

I bought this for my mother because the sun gets so hot that she and her collie cannot use their deck in the summertime. She is absolutely delighted with the look and versatility and is considering getting more and keeping them up year-round. She has the white. Too soon to discuss durability.

These things are wonderful! They are HUGE too, covers all of the areas I needed shade -- and thensome. I bought the triangle and the rectangle shades and they are just awesome. They are well made, very sturdy (even in the wind) and ideal for your backyard paradise! They have certainly made my pool welcoming in this Texas heat. My hubby bought some steel eyelets to screw into the concrete bricks and surrounding trees, which also required extra rope to use as a pully to get them up high and secure, but boy they sure look fantastic! Great construction and appeal.

My husband & I have been considering this product for a while. We've seen similar products in use commercially and decided to order two - both the rectangle and the triangle. We put the rectangle up in our yard without much trouble - my husband is handy. He attached it to the house and to a tree. It looks great and is bigger than the umbrella we use to have. It doesn't take any floor space, like a gazebo would because it is all suspended. However, it is not waterproof. Rain goes right through - which it has to or water would pool on it. We are going to put the triangle up to shade a deck soon - again attaching to the house and a tree. I didn't rate durability as it has only been up a few weeks so far, but I would expect it to last as long as an umbrella would and the cost was less, so the value is excellent.

I ordered the Yellow sunshade. It is a muted yellow and it looks really nice. Sort of a darker yellow not vibrant yellow. It is made of very rugged material. The attached ropes seem a little weak but I will use my own rope anyway.I like sail shape, it adds some interest to the yard. It's not a huge sail so it is not difficult to hang. It does a great job of blocking the sun despite it's size.I will likely order some more once I figure out how to attach to other places on my house.
These are wonderfully durable, and easy to install, shade solutions. I actually have two of them, one square and one triangle. I will be purchasing another square one before next summer. I have the tan sails, and i use a lightweight chain to adjust the lengeth of the rig. The nylon ropes that come with the sail I found to be inadequate, but the other hardware is okay. I highly recommed this product and overstock price and shipping was fabulous. This is a must have for Southern California.

WE are very happy with our canvas triangles. They were reasonably priced and relatively easy to install, just ask my husband! The only small thing is that since hanging them we have to go out and tighten the ropes. But hopefully this is just a small adjustment that we won't have to do every time.I really like how they look , and will probably buy some more for the rest of the yard.

The shade sale is VERY well put together. It's working well for me. Sorry I can't say the same for the hardware and "rope" that came with it. We substituted other things for longer wear on hardware and strapping. Overall, not a bad value. Easy to install.

The sun shade I purchased is great. Easy to install, and the yellow I purchased brightens up the pool area, while shading it from (1) leaves falling into the pool and (2) the scorching San Antonio sun. It helps in our water conservation effort, and was less expensive and easier to manage than the solar rings.

I ordered three white shades, but three beige arrived. I was ambivilant about the white anyway, so I kept them; but its a pretty big mistake on Overstock's part. I like the shades though. Because of the slightly bowed shape, they seem smaller than the size would indicate. I'm glad I bought several

I bought this product 3 years ago and it has held up wondrfully. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be. I wanted to buy another one but my husband said they are too hard to install. As I recall it was a little tricky and he had buy some additional hardware.Either way, I love it! It adds a little something special because no one else I know has one! It also doubles as a hammock for our cat!
We have had this product for well over a year and it has held up well. We live in Southern California and have it up year round. The only complaint I have is with the ropes that come with the sail. They are okay for the job, but I ended up purchasing some low cost ratchet cargo straps and these seem to be working much better.
