I really like the trash bin w/ storage because my house doesn't have much storage and my dog can't get into my trash anymore!

This piece is perfect for what we needed. And it's strong and sturdy if it's put together correctly. If you're good at this sort of thing--you'll like this. If you're no good at putting together do-it-yourself furniture, you'll be frustrated and will most likely mess it up.

arrived missing several pieces. Also, took several hours to try and put it together. I contacted the parts phone number and am still waiting (over 2 weeks) for the missing parts. Very disappointing!

It's kind of low to the ground. But it's serving it's purpose, which was to house my microwave and to hide my trash can.

We got this as a recycling bin and it exceeds all expectations. It was easy to assemble, looks good and works great for recycling. Very solid. The baskets are nice - not sure for what, but they will be used. Cutting board probably won't be used much but it seems functional. If you're looking for a recycling center or multipurpose trash bin - this is a good choice.

I purchased this for use in a small bathroom to store towels, washcloths, & hand towels in. The trash bin part holds folded bath towels PERFECTLY! It holds about 8 of my average quality bath towels, they aren't super thin, but not super thick & plush either. The baskets hold lots of washcloths & hand towels. I assembled it in about 2 hours, while taking my time & watching television. For the most part, the instructions were pretty good. Use the # references when deciding which hardware you will need to use, the written-out descriptions are off. They use the correct number-reference, #3 several times, but refer to the Wood pegs as Wood screws. It was easy for me to assemble, and I am NOT a furniture assembler. My husband usually puts stuff together for me, he was impressed when I built this myself. It is the perfect size for my small bathroom. Not too deep, so it fits nicely along the wall between the toilet & tub. The finish is nice & smooth. The baskets are ok. Not super great quality & they have metal brackets on the bottom of them that will scratch the paint on the shelf. I put self-adhesive furniture felt on them to avoid scratching. It's staying on just fine. My only major complaint is the cutting board area. It has a cut-out underneath the cutting board. I was hoping to put perfume bottles, hand lotion, etc. in the area under the cutting board. I figured a routed-out area would be perfect to keep these items from sliding off the top. Nope, they end up in the top basket if you remove the cutting board. I plan on decoupaging a picture to the cutting board to keep it from looking out of place in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the cutting board sets slightly above the top of the cabinet. It is not flush, so it creates a raised section on top. The cutting board itself is pretty nice. I just wish it was removable without leaving a cutout hole underneath. Overall, I am pleased with this piece. It works perfectly for what I planned on using it for.

Love the look of the cabinet. Baskets are easy to pull out. Not tight at all. It did take time to put together but that was expected. I agree about the silly cutting board from other reviews. Not necessary. I painted mine to match cabinet. Hoping it will stand up to wear and tear for many years.

The package was complete, and assembly took about an hour and a half. Didn't have any of the assembly problems which some others described. Had to puzzle out the directions a bit, but with very few parts it wasn't that hard. Nice, solid feel to the furniture after it's assembled, and the baskets fit very neatly. Two negatives - the baskets are very rough inside, and the cutting board sticks up a bit above the top - I would have preferred it be completely recessed.

Bought this to hold our recycling in our kitchen along with baking items and snacks. Works perfectly and is easy to take the recycling bags in and out. Was definitely worth the money!

This product met my expectations for look and construction. It is not fine furniture but the quality matches the price. I was anxious when I first openned up the box because there were MANY parts. However, the instructions were simple and broken down into easy steps. All of the parts were labled and easy to identify. Construction took about 40 minutes (mainly because of the number of parts and actions). The only complaint is that the hinge inside of the waste bin area sticks out and causes trash bags to tear. I may out a plstic bin inside to prevent this. Otherwise, this is a good product for the price.

The product didn't have a manual or all the parts. I called customer service for the manual - which I eventually found on-line and then found out that I was missing half of the hardware. I called the company for the replacement hardware. They sent the wrong pieces! Not only did I have to wait for the hardware - I ended up just going to the local store to find what I needed because I didn't want to wait another 5 days for the wrong parts again. Not exactly a great purchase. I even had to "trim" the garbage bin I used inside as it was too wide and couldn't find one that would fit. I kept it, just because I didn't want the hassle of finding a box big enough to fit everything in to return.

I bought this for a corner of the kitchen to collect the recyclable paper trash conveniently. I use the drawers for storage of dry goods like pasta, rice, popcorn, etc. It was a bit tedious to assemble, but extremely useful for the needs I had.

Overall, this is a really nice trash bin. I prefer it to the plastic bin we were using before we purchased this one. The baskets give it a real country charm. Here are some points to consider: -The construction process was fairly easy, but we were missing parts. The customer service was pretty good. They shipped the missing parts and we received them within five (5) days. -It was A LOT smaller than I expected, even though I pre-measured the area of the kitchen I ultimately put it in. -The place on top where the cutting board sits is actually a hole, so you have to leave the cutting board in it. The problem with using the cutting board on the top of the bin is that the bin itself is not particularly sturdy, and it is too low (I am 5'5''), so it would make it really hard to cut anything. It's not worth the price. I got it on sale and it's still not worth what I paid as far as the look and size of it. BUT, I really do prefer it to my previous trash bin and it's cute, so I'm keeping it. I would recommend it to someone else, but only after they've seen it in person.

Product was as advertised, but not simple to put togeter, my son said it looked good over all.

I bought this unit for a little extra kitchen storage, but principally to thwart my 70lb dog's trash-eating attempts. I'm most impressed with, however, the quality of the product and assembly instructions! This is the best self-assemble furniture piece I've ever bought. I recently bought self-assemble table, chairs, and island from ********l and every single package had missing/damaged pieces and the instructions were impossible. This trash bin storage unit has all the pieces in good condition, well identified pieces, and clear instructions. Brilliant! Best of all, my dog has been unable to get into the trash. He did leave some teeth marks in the corner during the first week, but he's given-up on opening it! The only disappointment was the cut-out in the top, beneath the cutting board; it is weird--I'd have preferred a solid top.

This took a wile to put together as there are many small parts to it. It has just the look I wanted and fits perfectly in our kitchen. Unfortunately, after the first day I noticed that the wicker baskets scratch the white wood when you pull them out so I put small furniture pads under each corner. The brown scratch marks will have to be touched up with some white paint.

It is a beautiful piece but delicate. I use it in my sewing room so its function is something I highly needed but the paint scratches easily, even when just pulling out the bins. Also it was difficult to put together and I find I have to treat it with "kid gloves."
