I LOVE the bling. This is a great knock off of a very expensive chandelier. The quality and size of the glass baubles are very good, oh & NONE WERE BROKEN. Heavy weight and clear. The design of the rings where you have to attach the baubles is a nice shiny chrome finish which adds to the shine. ( I have seen it where it has a dark black finish too, but this works for my hallway design. NOW as for the putting together. The baubles come separate from the rings. YOU have to attach them all, maybe 150 pieces total? Sit on your bed get comfortable and leave the frustration at the door. Chant this is why I paid 1/8 the price then the expensive version. It took maybe 1.5 hours to connect the key ring type metal circles to the large frame rings. The finished product is gorgeous. I will hang it in a few days, still painting my hallway.
If you like sparkle, you'll love this chandelier. More contemporary and casual than a traditional crystal chandelier, it fits well in my casual slightly rustic home. It's the star of my small hallway that's adjacent to my living room and dining room. It was a job putting it together but once you get the hang of it, the piece comes together beautifully. I would suggest using a needle nosed plier for the job. I would definitely assemble it BEFORE it's hung up. It makes for a heavy chandelier and you will need two people to hang it. Overall, it's lovely and I don't really notice the light housing as mentioned in other reviews. Worth every penny.
Looks great! Installed it in my Master Closet - I have the pendant version above my tub. It gives off a lot of light and looks very upscale. *Much* better than the old globe light that was there. I highly recommend it. Note: It takes 1+ hrs. to put all of the glass bulbs on - I sat in front of the TV doing it. Work from the inside out. Also, have two people install the fixture itself as it's heavy and awkward to handle. My contractor & husband installed it and knocked off a few bulbs - they shattered everywhere as the bulbs are solid glass (hence the weight).
I love the finished product. I was surprised when I got the chandelier it was in a 100 pieces. You have to assemble it completely (each crystal.) At first I was going to send it back but now I am glad I stuck with it. It took about 2 hours to assemble and put in, for the price it was worth it.
Very glad I purchased this. Looks very elegant in my bathroom. Appears to be an expensive chandelier. Installation was done by an electrician but I installed all the bulbs, which took about an hour, maybe less. Works well with a dimmer switch.
The chrome plating was chipped off in several areas on the round metal forms that hold the crystals so I had to return the item. The defects were too noticeable to keep it. The crystals were however quite substantial and the item was well packed. Returning the item was problem free.
This chandelier is in our newly renovated bathroom. We receive so many compliments on it. It is just so lovely. It adds just the right amount of bling to our space. It arrived in perfect condition. It does take a while to assemble because you have to put all the glass droplets on yourself. But this is the same situation with the pricier versions. Beautiful & I am very happy with my purchase!
Purchased this chandelier for our guest bathroom and absolutely love it. There is some assembly required (hooking 100 crystals to the rings to be exact) and it takes a few minutes to get the hang of it, but once you do, it will take one hour to finish and I promise, it will be worth every minute of toil. It's definitely a statement piece.
Like other reviews I found a more expensive version on Houzz and other people pointed to this version as a more affordable version. It looks great over my modern cast iron freestanding tub. It took a bit of time to assemble but it was worth it for the price.
