If you are proficient at assembling furniture this probably won't be as much of a challenge for you as it was for me! The directions were clear but the pieces didn't necessarily go together in order. I had to be a little creative to have it come together. You do have to pound ends- carefully with a mallot. I also had to position the unit differently to work with the different sections One of the cabinet doors doesn't stay closed. I originally saw this on QVC but it was much less $ and no S&H on the O. If I had paid more for this unit, I'd be dissappointed so it's OK- though I think it could be easily shipped in 2 boxes assembled except for the top at the same price. I think the island could easily accommodate 4 so I may purchase 2 more stools for the ends.Read More
