Texas-size rockers

texhillcountry Jan 13, 2010

I bought two of these for my front porch. Impressed with the quality and size. Perfect for a Texas hill country porch. I did not have the problems that others have mentioned with the assembly. Takes about 15 mins per chair to assemble. I've seen other patio rockers for twice this price that I didn't like near as much.

Great Value

sweetatr from Chiefland, FL, Jan 9, 2010

When this chair arrived, I asked my husband to put it together. It went together quickly and without any bad words coming out of his mouth! I asked him what he thought of the construction and he said it was a great piece of furniture for the price. He was very impressed with the quality even though it is made outside the USA. The other reviews mentioned using wood glue or the holes not lining up, but he did not have any problems.

LOVE IT

fancynancykay from Houston TX, Jan 8, 2010

Bought this rocking chair for hubby, who teaches 3-5 year olds with disabilities, for his classroom chair as he has back issues and the teeny student chairs were not made for him. He's not a tiny guy - over 6 feet, broad-shouldered... and he loves it! His only problem is keeping the kiddies out of it because they love it, too!Beautiful wood, well-planned for assembly (he does some woodworking and has built some furniture, so he knows if it's good or not :), and we plan to buy two more when our new house is finished - for the front porch!

Traditional porch rocking chair

kajon from Randleman NC, Nov 18, 2009

I saw these rocking chairs on the web and I just had to have them. They looked so comfortable. I ordered two of them and I have really enjoyed them. They are so easy to put together and they sit so good. I would reccomend them to everybody. They look great on the porch. Every one that comes to my house I ask them to sit down and try them. Everybody loves them when they sit down and try them out.I have had several rocking chairs on my porch but these are the most well built chairs I have bought..I like these chairs very much and would hate to do with out them . A great buy and a great price.

Rocker

clbw from Denver CO, Oct 31, 2009

This chair is very large; much larger than it appears. It is a good value for the money, but this chair is not suited to a woman's size unless she is tall and larger. My husband is 6'4" and he fits in it with room to spare. It has short rungs and so the rocking motion is clipped. It is not a bad chair at all, could use some better finishing. But, if you are a smaller to medium size person then just know the chair is large!
