Needs better assembly instructions
The chair is very nice. Strong and heavy wood, but the instructions were not very clear. I thought the screws that came with the chair were too short, but my teenage son figured out how the end piece on the screw fit into the chair so that the screws were long enough. If it had not been for him, I would have given up putting the chair together. I would have given the chair five stars if it had not been for the instructions. Other than that, the chair is beautiful and just what I wanted.

Porch Rocking Chair
I ordered two of the rocking chairs for my deck . They're very nice looking, big and heavy - there's nothing skimpy about them. The assembly was relatively easy. The only "but", and it's a big one, is that they're just not real comfortable. You probably won't want to sit and rock for hours. The back of the chair curves in the wrong place, not just for me but my friends and family have said the same thing. I've bought cushions for the seats which might help by changing where my back hits the chair... And they look so good we decided to keep them and use them as extra seating.

I Love this rocker!
I bought this idenitcal rocker at a club member store a few years ago. It's withstood the test of time & seasons beautifully. I love this rocker so much I bought 2 more from Overstock.com. It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I reccomend applying a wood seal if used outside.

porch rocker
The rocker looks better than the picture. The quality is wonderful, the finish is nice and smooth to touch. It is a large rocker, like "Papa Bear" size.

Wow, What a Rocker!
I just received two patio rockers and I simply love them. They look exactly as pictured on the website and were very easy to assemble. I was impressed with the weight and durability of the rockers as well. I highly recommend this product. Overstock.com, thusfar, is 2 for 2 in quality satisfaction in our house. Last year's Gazebo was a big hit and now these rockers are a wonderful addition to our "outdoor room." Thanks Overstock!

Love it, nice and wide and very comfy.
I had read previously some of the whole did not match up when putting together. So I was Expecting that. They did not match up, but my nephew who put it together for me, was able to drill the holes where they needed to be. But once assembled, very comfy, cozy and all my neighbors want to use it when I am not home; as it is out on my patio and I live in a condo community! Great product.

Wonderful rocker, nightmare to assemble
This pair of rockers are truly beautiful and comfortable. The problem lies in the assembly directions. My husband is a Master Carpenter and builds furniture as well. We both thought this would be a piece of cake for him. Wrong! After turning the air around us blue, he got the gist of the plans and whipped the 2nd rocker together in nothing flat. The system they use is great, but is not described well enough in the directions! He has since forgiven me, and now congratulates me on my genius for shopping! Not for beginners, I think.

Porch Rocking chair POS
This is a Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have assembled many many pieces of "box furniture" but this takes the cake. After an hour and sweat pouring into my eyes I still had'nt accomplished step 1! Sent all 5 pieces back and went to pier 1. what a POS!!!!!! Stay AWAY!!!!!! Seriously, I am not am amature!!! BAD BAD BAD!!!!!

Beautiful Rocker
This is a beautiful sturdy rocking chair. Unfortunately, the holes were NOT lined up where the screws were supposed to go- Putting this chair together was a NIGHTMARE - It took us one evening to Re-work the holes and the next morning to finish putting this together I would not want my worst enemy to go threw what we went threw putting this chair together Once we did get it together we put it on our porch. It is a lovely chair on our porch.

Nice to rock
I ordered two of these chairs and I'm so glad they are finally put together. That was really hard to do, and in fact I had to drill new holes as one of the pre drilled sets wasn't sufficient. They were very difficult to assemble. That said, they are quite comfortable .. moreso when I bought cushions for them ... and I can sit in them for hours. One of the arm rails was split on the outside, and I'll just repair that over time, I think. After finally getting it together, I certainly didn't want to disassemble the chair and send it back.
