Rocker
clbw  from Denver CO,  Oct 31, 2009
This chair is very large; much larger than it appears. It is a good value for the money, but this chair is not suited to a woman's size unless she is tall and larger. My husband is 6'4" and he fits in it with room to spare. It has short rungs and so the rocking motion is clipped. It is not a bad chair at all, could use some better finishing. But, if you are a smaller to medium size person then just know the chair is large!

Hit or Miss
drew12345  from Washington, DC,  Oct 22, 2009
I ordered two chairs. The first went together without any problems. On the second, several holes needed to be redrilled. Rocking motion on both is slightly uneven, but overall they are comfortable and don't require cushions. Durability could be an issue. I've only had them for about a week, but doubt they'll last more than a year or two. For the price, they look good sitting on the porch.

Great Rocking
mcginnch  from Las Cruces, NM,  Oct 12, 2009
This rocking chair is fabulous! I wanted something for my front porch so I could read comfortably while I watch the New Mexico clouds pass overhead. The chair is beautiful, sturdy, and comfortable. One slight problem -- after I put a nice, thick cushion on the seat my feet didn't touch the ground (important for rocking!!) -- I'm only 5'4". A cute little 10" high wooden footstool from Michael's, finished to match the chair, is the perfect solution. I highly recommend this rocking chair.

This chair is very good looking and a terrific value; however, the parts that need to be put together are constructed with very low tolerances for things like holes lining up properly or even being drilled deep enough to accommodate bolts. We had to redrill several holes and ended up needing to get a replacement for a piece that could not simply be redrilled.I purchased two chairs and the first one went together with only minor issues, but the second one was a frustrating disaster - not what I expected with all the great reviews that are posted. Overstock sent a replacement piece fairly quickly, but not without some customer service confusion.I would recommend this product with serious reservations.

Hi: I got this chair for my husband because he loves to sit out side and lean back in this other chair he had.I though it would be nice if he had a rocker.O-Stock was on TV and I said I'm going to try it.I loved the price and the shipping cost. You can't beat the shipping cost anywhere, but most of all the nice items.Keep up the good work.I'll be shopping again real soon. Nice piece of porch furniture. I had difficulty assembling due to improperly drilled holes.

Traditional Porch Rocker
caw79  from Arlington, VA,  Jul 3, 2009
They look as shown in the picture--they have a very generous seating area. Two of the screws provided didn't work ,causing hubbie to have to make a run to the hardware store. They look good and feel pretty solid once assembled, but they are not very comfortable--back is too straight and they don't have a very smooth rocking motion. Seat cushions are a must if you are going to sit in them for any length of time..But for the money I would still recommend them.

I wanted old fashioned looking rocking chairs for our front porch and these fit the bill. They were not real expensive, available in multiple colors, they seem very sturdy so they should last a long time. They are pretty straight up and down, so you don't slouch into them at all. They were a cinch to put together. I'd buy them again, no question.

I Love this rocker!
dguinzio  from Johnsburg, IL,  Jun 24, 2009
I bought this idenitcal rocker at a club member store a few years ago. It's withstood the test of time & seasons beautifully. I love this rocker so much I bought 2 more from Overstock.com. It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I reccomend applying a wood seal if used outside.

Disappointing
hlc1  from Los Altos CA,  Jun 20, 2009
A rocker should evoke grace and style. This one does neither. It is a sturdy chair but lacking in character. Assembly is easy enough but the completed product is not worth the effort.

I bought two of these chairs for our front porch. Although they took a bit to put together, they are beautiful -- always get a lot of compliments on them. I saw very similar chairs for more than double the price elsewhere.

great rocking chairs
laurilb  from New Hampshire,  Jun 6, 2009
I bought these rocking chairs for our front porch and put them together myself. I'm not handy but it didn't take very long to put them together. They are perfect for our porch. I'd recommend buying some cushions for the seat and back-they are a little hard. Otherwise, they are terrific!

Great Deal
pamfrommissouri  from Missouri,  May 17, 2009
Amazing price for these rockers. I ordered two. Love the look. Took a couple of hours for my husband and I to put together one of these. Simple diagram pretty easy to follow. Sturdy construction. These should last a long time. Love the color and smooth feel of the sanded wood - looks similiar to mahogany grain. Heavier than I expected. Good value for the money I spent. No regrets. One star off for the comfort. Happy about the wide seat.

Great Rockers!
caroljn  from Perkasie, PA,  May 10, 2009
I bought two of these rockers and am totally pleased with them. The weight is not flimsy, the assembly was easy (once I got used to the nut and bolt usage!) I didn't have any issues with alignment of the holes. It took a little less than an hour to put together (by myself!). I like the color of the oil finish. I find them to be comfortable without a cushion, but adding a cushion would be great if you plan to spend the afternoon rocking on the porch! I would recommend these to anyone - I don't think you can beat the price!

Acacia patio rockers
mfms  from Denton TX,  Apr 27, 2009
The rockers arrived very quickly. They require assembly and we had some problems with one of the two in the holes for the bolt assemblies did not line up well. A quick drilling out fixed that. They look good and seem to be weathering well. The seat and back are a little flat but not uncomfortable. The rocking action seems a little off... perhaps it is the curve of the rocker boards.

Great Chairs
tcosupreme  from San Francisco, CA,  Apr 24, 2009
Have owned and used two of these, purchased here on overstock.com, for almost 5 years already and they still look great. They've weathered a bit, but not much. I recently bought cushions from a local drug store too. Love 'em.
