    I am happy with this and would not discourage anyone from buying one. For me, it stood out because the receiver is battery operated making it highly portable. And price. Mine came without instructions but was easy enough to deduce how it works. Strong point - It is quite loud and is likely to be heard anywhere in most houses. Weak point - It is quite loud, and has no volume control; it could be jarring if used in a quieter environment. Selecting a tone could take a few minutes since it steps through one at a time, and there are many to choose from -- if you cannot find a tone you like in this, neither will find one in any other.

    Nice ring tone and easy to install. The exterior doorbell button i bit large for the average door frame. but the chimer is small enough to place anywhere. I could do without the little design painted on the button (non-removable). However, it does the job for which it was purchased. I could recommend it with reservations about the size of the button.

  • I wouldn't recomment this to anyone

    Easy to put together, no problem there - the trouble is (this is the second one of the wireless doorbells I have tried - the other not as good, but same thing happened) it rings whenever it seems to feel like it. Nothing scarier than to have your doorbell ring in the middle of the night. It rings and no one is there - it also rings when someone is there if you have turned it back on - however - when it starts to ring by itself, the only way to turn it off is to take out the battery to shut it up. The music is great - but enough is enough.
