This light fixture is exactly as described and is exactly what I expected. My electrician installed it in my kitchen as part of a total remodel, and the installation was easy. The flexible arms and adjustable bulb fixtures allow me to aim each bulb toward a different wall in the kitchen. The universal mounting bracket was great, especially considering my house has a 4" thick wood ceiling with no modern mounting box. The CFL bulbs take a moment to "light up", but once they are "warmed up" they are very bright. Despite this slight delay in producing bright light, I still feel this ispreferable to the halogen bulbs that are in so many new fixtures. The halogen ligths are supposedly extremely hot. I would definitely recommend this product!

I thought there would have been a plate of sort covering the bulb. I have a high safety concern. I haven't found a location for them in our home because we have little ones in and out & frankly they are as far from kid friendly as you can get. I may return them since they scare me.

I think I might have been missing a part or something. We never got the thing installed, and I guess that's OK. I think I'd try to find this in person to look at before ordering it.

Nice light. Adaptable for different uses. Does get hot though. Must keep away from paper, curtains, etc. and not touch until cools down.

It looks great, but inside the spot the light bubs have no support to stay firm in place. in other words, once the wire pass through the metal hole and it is inside the cup it has no support to stay firmly in place and if you aim the light to the wall instead the floor the bulb will be hanging and touching the metal of the metal cup. very hazardous and should not be sold by Overstock. I returned it an warned Overstock to not sell it.
