I bought this flatware for our cabin at the lake. But once I opened the box, I decided to keep it at home and send my old flatware to the lake. The style is simple and elegant and the pieces feel substantial in your hand. For 18/10 stainless, this flatware is a steal.
Considering the price this is very nice. Good weight and looks nice. Then knives are nice because of the different look but don't feel completely right when used but better than a normal knife.
I absolutely love the feel, and shape of these!! Got them as a christmas present for my wife and she was so excited about them she opened her present early!Thanks again!
I know many of the reviews for this flatware set were excellent, but I still had my doubts as I am admittedly overly fussy. The weight of each piece is well balanced in your hand. The edges of each piece are nicely rounded and highly polished, the finish on my two sets was flawless (not necessarily the case with higher end flatware I've handled).The resting position of the knife is with the blade vertical - it is designed so a very small area, high up on the non business end of the blade is in contact with your table. The shape of each piece is a bit exaggerated and they are a slightly larger than I expected but all in all a SUPER buy and fine quality. One flatware box comes with each set, I found one box held two sets easily.
Sent this as an anniversary gift to my son and daughter-in-law and they were thrilled. Especially the knives,which have a twist to the handle and make it easier to use. Good weight and polish.
