i bought these chairs a year ago and they look great in my livingroom. Christmas Eve, we always have the whole family over, about 25 people, and I was so embarrased when someone plopped into the chair and a passing gas type noise came from the chair. This also happens when someone over 150 lbs. sits in it. It seems as if the air from the cushion is forced out of the bottom, which is fabric, and pushes its way out between the chair and the cushion making this horrible noise. Needless to say everyone laughed, continued to plop in the chairsso they would make the noise, and I was more than mortified. I am trying to find a way to solve this problem but nothing I have tried has worked as of yet.
The chairs arrived yesterday. It was a snap to put the legs on. They are very very nice. The size is perfect and they are so uptown looking. We are very pleased. Thanks again Overstock.com!
