I learned about these when we bought a new mattress set a few years ago. I had been using bulky, plastic lined, waterproof mattress pads that "crept" around the bed, were noisey, and made the bed too warm. We have dogs that sleep with us so we need protection on ALL our mattresses. This pad does an amazing job. It is lightweight and totally waterproof. It is very washable and you don't even know it's on the bed. I have these on every bed I own and am purchasing one for the futon/guest bed we have in our den. I have recommended them to friends and family and they have purchased them as well. I bought my first one at a special price as a package with my mattress purchase. I was so glad to find them at Overstock. I have not found a better price anywhere else. The shipping is reasonable and I get the merchandise immediatley. If you have children or animals in your household, or as guests, these pads are a "must have" to protect your valuable investment. They can also freshen the look of an older mattress.

We bought a new mattress and bought this mattress protector to 1) help with my allegies, 2) keep the mattress stain-free to keep our warranty in check, and 3) to help with any other hazards that might come in (it's always the unexpected that ruins what we love!). So far, we've washed this once, and it washed great. It is soft -- you can't even tell there's a urethane lining on the underside. I'm normally a hot sleeper and the cover didn't make me any worse like some do. The sides of it are the same terry material as the top, so it clings to the mattress better than any other mattress protector I've had. Really, you can't beat the price for the value. This feels better, and I'm sure works better than the $90 mattress cover the mattress store wanted us to purchase. Buy it! ;)

I liked the stretchy sides because they fit over the large mattress. I'm a a bit concearned about the frayed edges of the whole pad bottom (the part that fits under the mattress) but won't know it that's a problem or not until it's washed. I also didn't pour a glass of water on it so I don't yet know about it's absorbant qualities but I'm trusting that it will be fine. My daughter has the same item and with a 2 year old she has tested this aspect of it and assures me that it works great!

We purchased this mattress pad in King size for a new mattress last month and love it. It easily fit our 14" mattress. It is soft and not at all like sleeping on plastic. I have not yet had occasion to wash it but expect that it will be fine when I do. Good quality product, I just purchased 2 more for our guest room beds.

I'm very pleased with this mattress pad. It feels comfortable and keeps its shape, unlike the quilted mattress pad I already had. Initially, I was disappointed that it wasn't quilted, but realized that's better because it doesn't take up as much space in the washer.

I got this as we have 2 small kids. The spit up factor alongside of potty training was too risky on our memory foam mattress. This pad actually helps keep our sheets ON the bed which is great, but today one of the kids had an accident on the bed. The mattress pad did a GREAT job, but it did not entirely stop the leaking of liquid through to the bed. I was happy the damage was not as bad that it could have been, but disappointed there was even any damage at all. If i could spend 20$ more for a better protection pad, i would.

I have a big dog who likes to sleep on our bed. I bought this pad to keep between my top quilt and a duvet sheet...an unconventional use of the pad, I know. After cutting off the side anchor piece, it fit perfectly. Now my dog can jump on the bed after being outside on a rainy day and my bed sheets don't get dirty or wet. Excellent cover for those of us who sleep with our pets! TIP: Be sure to order a size larger than your bed, so that you can tuck it in at the bottom. That way, it won't move around.

I purchased the Serta Memory Foam 3-inch Mattress topper from Overstock for my new full bed for the guest room. Since I wanted a waterproof topper for it, I compared Overstock's waterproof mattress pads with the one I have from JCP on my queen mattress with 3" memory foam topper. I chose this one over the JCP because of the reviews and boy am I glad I did. This one fits pefect, was easy to put on and "stays put" and is very comfortable. I poured water on it and then took a towel and absorbed the water with the towel and no water got to the memory foam. Someone had complained that it came in a generic package, and it does, but it is a Sealy Posuturepedic mattress pad. I am thrilled with this purchase.

just got this bed cover and it's pretty good. it doesn't make any sounds which is nice and the top part is pretty soft. i would buy this again for another bed.

The pad is very thin but that's fine because we put a regular mattress pad on top of it, and we only really need it for the mattress warranty. It fits very well; a lot of mattress pads are skimpy and don't completely cover the top. Also the stretch material on the sides seems sturdy. A very good deal for the price.

This is the best mattress pad ever! My husband is a sweater at night and his side of the bed was always damp in the morning and I needed something to protect our expensive memory foam mattress that was waterproof and I finally found it. I only wish I could have found this 1 year ago. I washed it upon recieving it and it washes well and dried quick in the dryer. Love it!!Thanks Overstock! I will continue buying from you!

This mattress protector is so much better than the one I bought for my daughter's bed. We have animals who sleep with us, so I wanted a good protector for my mattress. This one is great! It doesn't make a sound and you can't even tell it is on the bed.

I thought this was going to be a thick mattress pad with total protection. My error. It is a thin pad protector. For comfort I have placed it over a regular mattress pad and I think it will work out great. It will save a more expensive mattress pad and mattress and be a lot easier to wash in a home washing machine. I have been buying from overstock for years and have never gotten anything I disliked. I would certainly recommend this as a pad protector.

This is just what I was looking for. It protects the mattress and since I have a plush pillow top I didn't need a padded cover. Easy to use and fits in the washing machine.
