  • Nice look, but a challenge to put together.

    This is a very nice looking piece. It really dressed up our living room a great deal. There is plenty of room in the cabinets. It seems to be of good quality. It was a challenge to put together. I've put together a lot of furniture and consider myself pretty handy around the house, but this took some time. We are very happy with this piece.

  • Nightmare

    The TV stand was a nightmare to put together. The instructions were not clear at all. My husband and I put it together and this isn't our first rodeo putting things together. It took us about 9 hours of frustration to finish assembly. The product came damaged on some pieces, we called customer service and they offered to ship us new pieces but we didn't want to wait for them, nor did we want to haul all the pieces into the garage from the living room. We had pieces everywhere. Then, when we were putting the wooded dowels into the board some of them poked thru the so called wood. It really is laminate coloring over particle board. This was not worth the price or the hassle. Final words, after all that it does look nice in the living room. No one knows what a piece of garbage it is. I think it may fall apart if we every move and need to haul it....it may just become a yard sale item at that point. Next time my husband said we will get real wood and where it comes assembled.

  • Tons of Storage

    We love our new entertainment center! It has tons of storage. We have put all our movies and cd's in it and still have lots of room for more stuff! The item is just as pictured. Modern style. Cool dark brown tone. Only a few complaints . . . It took my husband over 5 hours to assemble. Yes, there were that many pieces. I got the feeling the instructions weren't the easiest to follow. The other thing is that I loaded the door shelves up with cd's and now one door is gaping a little. I'm not sure what the weight capacity is on these shelves. My husband had already discarded the instructions by the time this happened. You may want to reserve these shelves for movies which are more lightweight than the cd hard cases.

  • as good as it looks!

    It weighs a ton and comes in thousands, and I mean thousands, of pieces! the instructions aren't the easiest to follow and I'm usually quick at putting things together. This took me about 3 hours. You will need a second set of hands to connect doors and top. It was definitely worth the price I paid, $$$$ including shipping. I looked at other pieces in furniture stores for 3 times the price and am vey happy with this one!

  • real deal

    I am surprised I did not bump into this TV cabinet earlier as I am a daily visitor on Overstock. But after all it is better later than never. As soon as I saw this amazing piece I ordered it as the price was irresistible. the huge interior helps me in storing all the books and accessories, little decorative pieces and albums while the exterior is a highly simple and elegant addition to the room decor. Recommend it gladly.
