"chrome" is chipping
The stools look good but sorry to say but they are not holding up. The chrome base is showing lots of wear. I'd love to touch up with chrome paint but nothing i've found is shiny enough. Also, when sitting on the stool, the shaft mechanism that makes the stool go up and down squeaks until it settles into position.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. it's been more than a year since I purchased the stools...the chrome paint is chipping on the base of the stool and the mechanism that makes the stool go up and down is squeaky when you sit on it.

nice stool
Very nice bar stool however when assembling make sure you take the black cap off the gas lift or the chair won't work (not included in instructions). Very well packaged and took only 5 days for delivery. Very retro look!
