    I love this shade. The way it opens at the top. Good privacy for my bathroom window. Some how I must have put the holder in crooked or something. Every time I try to lower or raise it it snaps out of the holder. Very annoying.

    I have been so happy with these, that I have purchased several more. Work exactly as they should, and it is great being able to lower the top to let in the light, yet keep the bottom portion of the window covered. Love them.

  • I liked it so much I went back for more!

    I put 3 of these in my bedroom 6 months ago and love them. They work well and are fairly easy to install. I would recommend you pay close attention to where you place the bracket on the control side to avoid having to redo it.

    Love these blinds. Purchased 3 and have ordered 3 more shades and would get more, but size I need is not available. Need colors also. Love the versatility of being able to position the blind exactly where you want and still have open window for the view.

  • look great but they don't work very well

    The shades look great and are much cheaper than shades available in other stores. They were pretty easy to install, too. However, the shades fall off of the hanging mechanism and onto the floor almost every time that I try to raise them using the cord. It's insane! I'd encourage people to invest in sturdier, more expensive shades instead of these.

My window is only 52 1/2" tall. Will this 64" shade look funny with that much excess? Is there a way to shorten the overall length without messing up the mechanism? Also - what is the length of the top section and the bottom section (each)? screennameissues on Apr 28, 2012

You can't shorten the length yourself, but a professional wouldn't have trouble adjusting things. Because of the thinness of the material, there would only be a few inches ( maybe 2 to 3 at most) of unfolded material at the bottom when opened fully in a 53" window. overstockcustomercare1 on May 1, 2012
 
We have 64" blinds on 39" windows. The blinds look a little darker near the bottom since there's more fabric there, but we've never thought they looked funny. Once you put them up I bet you'll think they look fine. We love our top-down blinds and are back to get more! puppyapproved on Mar 16, 2013
