For now, we use it as an island and we eat on it all the time. I put two cute stools on it. It looks great until we build an island. After which, we will use it as a bar or a work table.

  • Good, mostly solid metal toolbox

While these are not the same as 'the old red toolbox' that your dad had, they are a good bargain for the price. The steel stock is slightly less thick than the 'old school' metal boxes, so falling from a height with tols in is will certainly deform the corners, but I do not plan on dropping it. I bought this when I could not find a good metal tool box for my electronics tools at any of the chain stores in my town. I specifically wanted metal because the previous two have been plastic and both have broken easily, making another plastic toolbox seem like a bad idea. This tool box is not too large for storing, but it is bigger and is much sturdier than its plastic predecessor. The tray is well made and fits in the box without a struggle, and the dual front latches work very well. If I have any reservations at all it is that The hinges are a tad flimsy, so I take care not to bump the top when it is open. I cannot complain too much about the hinges though, as they are certainly better...

Nothing more to say. It is what it was described as. Minimal if any damage. I'd give it an overall 9 out of 10

Well the reviews said it comes dented in many cases and it certainly did in this case. I was able to stick the dented corner towards the back wall of where I was placing my table so no one can see it. The table does look great though for my utility space where I put it. If somehow this product could ship with protected styrofoam corners I think that would alleviate the dented corner problem.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Stainless steel is shiny and new.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. It definitely dented in the shipment stages.
