From the description of this item, I expected to receive a comforter as part of the set. What in fact arrived was a comforter cover. I am fine with this, as we have a queen size down comforter that will work well with the cover, but it was not clear from the description that this is what we would be getting. The colors of the item in the picture also are a bit misleading -- the picture has a definite orange tint but the comforter cover and shams are a standard khaki. I had seen a picture of items from the same line on another website that showed the color more accurately, so wasn't surprised when I opened the box, but other buyers might want to be aware of this.The fabric on the comforter cover is quite heavy. It should be comfortable during the winter, which is when I plan to have it on our guest bed, but I would not want to use it during the summer. One other fact about the item to mention is that the bedskirt is quite long, maybe 15 inches from the top of the box spring to the floor. The generous length would be good on many beds, but because we have a low-profile box spring and a low bed frame, it is too long for the bed on which we plan to use it. I am planning to restitch the bedskirt and don't think the length will be difficult to adjust. Overall, I am happy with this set. The fabric is sturdy and nice to the touch, I am impressed by the quality of the workmanship and the set looks great on our guest bed.
Overstock was at least fifty dollars cheaper than other websites. Very goood quality and great loooking!
