The towels looked beautiful right out of the box. The blue color was lovely. I know towels need to be washed before you can use them so I did that right away. After their first drying, the lint trap in my dryer was full, which I expected. I did not expect the pilling all over the towels. We washed them a second time, the lint trap was barely full but the towels were still covered -- COVERED. I removed some of the lint by hand then tried a lint roller. As I worked on the towels I noticed that the bindings/edgings on some of the towels were fraying and coming loose. We had not even used them yet and they looked frayed. Some of the towels had "runs" in the fabric too.Not what I was expecting at all. I'm going to have to return them.
I am deployed to Iraq and wrapping myself up in these towels after a shower are a bright spot in my day. They are SO comfy and soak up water immediately. They're thick and luxurious and if I were able, I'd wander around in nothing but these towels all day. I wish I could find a robe that's as wonderful. I ordered them in "wisteria" and they're more purple than the pink that they look in the picture, but I don't mind. Using these towels, literally, makes my day better. The color is girly and makes me smile when I see it and they are just so fluffy and warm.
I bought a set of these towels in ivory since I was having company and needed to freshen the bathroom. I should have ordered a few more sets since the quality is outstanding. The fluffed up to about 3 times the thickness after washing and drying the first time. I didn't notice an exceptional amount of lint after the first washing. They are very soft and look like very top-end towels. They were an absolute bargain for a top brand.

I like the towels, the color is vibrant, nice softness and absorbant. The big big problem is when you first get them you will have to wash them at least three times to stop the pilling. We have had little pill balls all over the floor which is really annoying. Other than that we are happy with them.

I bought the set in Wisteria. My bathroom is done in a hummingbird theme with greens and shades of pink and lavender. The towels were the perfect blend of the pink and lavender shades I wanted. It is hard to find this color and I'm delighted with the towel set. Good quality and nice soft texture. I expect to enjoy them for a long time to come.

The Hilfinger towels are beautiful. We have washed and used them several times. The color remains true and vibrant, the fabric comfortable and absorbent but also looks elegant hung on towel rails. Very definitely suited to guest bath, powder room or master bath where you want impact as well as functionality. The stitching is also above the grade of what I have seen lately in department stores and bath stores so I expect them to hold up over the long haul. Highly recommend you try a set and see for yourself.

The Tommy Hilfiger towels I recently purchased were WONDERFUL! I'm very impresed with the quality and thickness of the towels. The price was right, too! I have already washed them 3 times and they keep getting more and more soft. I purchased the ivory towels and the color is beautiful and bold. I highly recommend them and am planning on purchasing them in different colors for my other bathrooms as well.

I bought this set for my grandaughter, who wanted deep purple towels. The quality was even better than I expected and the color was perfect! I have been doing business with Overstock.com for over 5 years, and have ALWAYS been very pleased with the products that arrived. There is always some uncertainty of buying products on line particularly if you have not done your homework. I was totally pleased with the quality and color of the towels as well as the quick service by Overstock. They have never failed please me with their products and service.

I had to replace all my bath towels and these towels were an excellent choice. Rich and true color, very fluffy, and take well to washing. I both these and another set to compare and I keep coming back to these towels. Better quality I found in department store towels. I will be ordering more - it's great that they come in a set of six.

I purchased 3 sets of these towels. One was fine (tan) one shredded on the edges a bit after washing per instructions (yellow) and one came dramatically apart on at least one edge of each of the towels in the set (Aqua). In fact, the Aqua towels were so bad that I had to pull out the sewing machine and zigzag the edges to keep the towel from completely falling apart. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed, but had company coming to the cottage immediately and had to have the towels. If I'd had the time, I would have returned them all. Definitely disappointed in this level of quality for a name like Tommy Hilfiger.

These are fantastic towels. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to freshen up your towel stash or starting out. I bought the sand stone color and washed them before use - no pilling and no fuzz-covered body after shower! The only reason I give the fabric 4 stars is because when I tore all the paper tags off one of the towels ripped at the seam. I can fix it, not worth sending back - just be careful when you tear them off!
