It appears the dimensions are smaller than a standard twin 38x74 and only 8 inches thick vs. standard twin 39x75. Is a standard fitted sheet going to fit and not be to loose.
Bought two of these for our kids. Excellent quality, and no chemicals! Bought a feather topper for my 3 year old to make it softer, but my 8 year old only needed a mattress pad. Very happy with this purchase....

Bought two of these for our kids. Excellent quality, and no chemicals! Bought a feather topper for my 3 year old to make it softer, but my 8 year old only needed a mattress pad. Very happy with this purchase.Read More
This mattress comes rolled in a box. You open it up and- wow- it magically opens into a really nice twin mattress. After letting it settle for a few hours, II tried it out. It was very comfortable. My daughter has not slept on it yet, but I think that she will really llike it. I wanted a healthy mattress for her, but could not afford the $700 plus that many of them cost. Shipping was free and super fast!. This was a great compromise. I decided to buy it after reading other reviews. I think that this is a fantastic value!Read More
For a mattress that came rolled up and without a box spring, I was amazed at how comfortable it is! Don't let the "Average Comfort" rating fool you--I just selected that because it is very soft AND firm at the same time!! It has the comfort of a pillow top, but it's firm enough to support my 6'1", 250+ lb husband comfortably (even though we bought it for a toddler). We just bought a new mattress for ourselves in January, otherwise this would be a definite contender for our next mattress. In any case, we'll keep it in mind for the next mattress we need to buy. We bought the mattress because it was eco-friendly and we're trying to keep toxins away from our little ones, and it was a pleasant to find something so safe that was also comfortable AND affordable!Read More
No chemical smell. My five year old loves her new mattress.Read More
I was hesitating on buying a mattress that would be shipped rolled up and air sealed. But based on others reviews I decided to purchase it for my 3 yrs old son's new bed. When it arrived I pulled it out of the box and broke the seal on the wrapper and that was it! It unrolled itself and was solid right away. I noticed just a little new mattress smell that was gone in half a day. We couldn't be happier, and what a great price too compared to similar mattresses. If your think about it, just do it. You won't be disappointed. Oh and my son is finally sleeping through the night without waking up! Priceless!Read More
A very comfortable mattress that appears to be much more environmentally friendly and leach substantially fewer chemicals than your average mattress. Mattress is not heavy, but it feels substantial. Seems to work well on a platform (captain's) bed. My 5 yr old has pronounced her new bed cosier than mine. Can't speak to its durability, but I am hopeful.Read More
I purchased a twin for my 11 year old daughter. We had to place a sheet of plywood over the slat support of her bed. That provided excellent support for the mattress. The mattress is firm but very comfortable. I have an expensive Tempurpedic and my husband and I were surprised that we would be very comfortable on this brand of mattress. Also, I did not experience any off-gassing.Read More
I was a little nervous with ordering a mattress online that I have never seen in person. I did a lot of research in comparing "greener" mattresses and kept coming back to this for quality and price. Liking a softer mattress, I was also worried it would be way too firm (knowing the description says firm). But I have to say I am so pleasantly surprised. I could definitely sleep on this and am actually considering a King for our room after lying on it. Very very faint smell to it, almost undetectable which makes me feel I made the best choice in buying this! Any further mattress purchases will be Spaldin.Read More
Great mattress for your money. Bought two mattresses for our kids- 6 and 4 year old. We spent a lot of time researching for a latex mattress that does not have harmful by products and off gassing and this one fit the bill. It is very comfortable mattress for a child or adult. I would recommend that you do let it air out for two days so the foam smell that is trapped in the plastic shipping wrap can dissipate.Read More
Nice product, is definately "firm" as stated. Looks like a normal mattress and doesn't smell like toxic chemicals, yay! Seems well made. Delivery was quick.Read More

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets.
