While it is basically an oven its use as a toaster when set on broil is excellent

I like the different cooking features of this and that it has a timer which when I started shopping for a new toaster oven was surprised that they didn't all have them. What I hate about this oven is that when you pull the tray out part way there is a gap in the middle of the guide and the tray tips and dumps your food out! You have to pull the tray all the way out and set it somewhere so you can work on your food if you need to and you can't set it on the door as it's tilted. This design feature drives me nuts, I like toaster ovens to save me time and to be handy, I'm really bummed I don't like this more!

It toasts fine, but only about half the range is useable (i.e. beyond half way on the dial, everything burns). I stays cool to touch. It appears heavier than it is, which causes people unfamiliar with its operation to tip it over when depressing the lever. A good toaster for the price.

This toaster is a bit on the small side for the bread I typically eat. Have it set to toast light and I flip it over and toast it again so the top of the bread gets toasted. This is not at all a big issue for me, but it might be for some. The sleek design is attractive mad matches my fridge.
