  • More BLUE than picture shows

    Jan 24, 2015

Ordered this tile based on gray in description and picture. Upon receipt, this tile is largely blue-gray with large variation in color from pebble to pebble. Some pebbles are best described as sky blue. Some are gray, but with blue undertones. Tile itself is fine if one understands this is not gray, and desires the blue. Blue did not work for us. Had to return.

I used light smoke non sanded grout, has a contemporary industrial look. Goes with my gold/brown granite countertops. Good quality and price.

  • Makes a Gorgeous Statement!

We can't get over how beautiful this shell tile is. It transformed my guest bathroom. Used it to tile two primary walls and the ceiling and surround trim in the shower area. This is so lovely every one of my four grown sons (yes, men) commented on how beautiful it is. We had a large gathering over the holidays and got so many nice comments. It looks rich and interesting, and makes you want to touch it. The light glows off the iridescent shell. I couldn't be more pleased with the look,. For those concerned about the install, my installer said it was his first of this material and although it is thin and appears fragile he had no issues with a wet saw. It is pricey compared to ceramic, but I consider it a value well worth the investment for what we got in return. I give it a big Woo Hoo!

  • Gorgeous Bath Tiles!

We now have the best-looking bathroom in town! Couldn't be happier with the look. Yes, the glass tiles are thinner than some varieties, but our installer used a wet saw and didn't seem to have any issues. We used a light gray grout, matching gray on the ceiling and mirrored wall, and charcoal gray cabinets. This is my second somertile installation, and we are very happy with both. The only drawback is having to buy in entire case quantities, which in this case is 20 tiles. The price is great but we ended with fifteen spares. No regrets, very pleased.
