I order two of the these lamps. I loved them so. I have searched the internet and I found them at a great price! The lamps were shipped separately. The first lamp I received was in a flimsy box and crushed on one side. Not a good sign. Of course, the globe was broken. I cut my finger on the exposed copper that lines the individual pieces of glass. Of couse, it required stitches. The second (2nd) lamp arrives the next day, and I'm very cautious. This flimsy box has a hole punched in it. Of course, this globe was also broken. Needless to say that ended my buying from Overstock on anything breakable. I have gotten great stuff from Overstock for a great price. Just don't buy anything breakable and you're OK. I gave it an overall two (2) stars for how responsive Overstock was in refunding my money.

The design and look of the lamp is appealing and when lit it provides a nice array of colors. The one thing that I am dissapointed about is that the shade was covered with an oily residue which I can't wipe clean. The other factor has to due with the securing of the shade to the base. I can't seem to tighten it enough where the shade won't spin on its own. I would prefer that it remained in the position that it was tightened to. If you can live with this that is fine. The lamp is beautiful and I am satisfied with the purcchase.

I love the lamps. They are good quality for the price. However, they needed some adjusting. The lamp shade sits too high and does not cover the bulbs. We had to go to our local hardware store and purchase a shorter threaded rod to shorten the height and use smaller bulbs so that they were hidden underneath the shade. Also, the light sockets and brackets had to be twisted upwards to aid in concealing the bulbs!
