Customer Reviews
Lamp is just advertised, and sheds a nice mellow light.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews here. I really like this lamp. I also purchased a mission style tiffany lamp here and it is not nearly as nice as this lamp. And for less than $75, it's such a great deal. I think it's very pretty and works very well on the little table in my entry way. The cord under the shade to turn it on and off is heavy with a little ball on the end so it's easy to reach in the dark. The style is lovely because it's classic, yet unique. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
The Lamp is too small even for a table lamp. The finish shown in the online display looks like brass, but the actual lamp base looks like wood. I believe that the thing that screws shade to the lamp actually is wood. The shade is lovely but not quite large enough. I'm sending it back.
From a staging point of view the lamp looks acceptable. However, the quality and appearance of the base looks and feels like rubbery plastic and is shorter than expected. The sizing of the overall lamp makes it look like a mushroom. I checked online to see if I could get a metal base 2 - 3" taller, and the cost would put me into the $150 range. Other than that, the shade is nice and makes up for the chintzy quality.
This lamp is exdactly what I've been looking for! Looks Great in my bedroom. I would definetely recommend it.
