Ok this is my second review on this lamp. I have only had it 5 months and the wiring is just not up to par. When we turn the lamp on it starts to make a crackling noise. Then last week the lamp in the base stopped working. I got it back working now but worry that the wiring is faulty.I suggest looking for one that is better made.

This lamp is exactly as it appears. It uses two light bulbs at a horizontal angle. It has a nice nightlight in the base. It looks wonderful on a wood table and was very nicely packed when sent. I love it.

The lamp is beautiful. However, the wood was not the dark cherry wood I had anticipated...it has a lighter finish. The top part of the lamp wiggles a bit too much, but the lighted base is absolutely gorgeous.

Mid-priced mission style lamp at the quality level you would expect at this price point. This lamp may not be a great bargain, but I do love the look and the warm glow. The base lamp is a perfect night light. My only caution is that the wood is not a normal wood tone - but really ORANGE! I have notice this comment on other lamp reviews, so it must be that manufacturer. I will probably tone down the color with a darker stain.
