We were looking for a semi-flush light for a small hallway. This item more than adequately lights the area with two 60 watt bulbs. When it arrived I was surprised by its large size. You can't get the full impression of it on line. The glass design is very detailed. I believe we definitely got our money's worth. It was an excellent value. My husband installed it easily one evening after work. If you have ever hung a fixture before you should have no problems.
I didn't realize that the glass was a plastic type material. So when you're installing it, you don't think about the "drop or ding" issues as much.I installed it in my entryway which is a small area. It fits well and doesn't over power the area like some large lamps. It adds a soft touch. Nice lamp, but for the money I expected more than plastic.
We live in a tract home, so I love to find anything that will personalize it for us. This light fixture really gives the room personality. The quality is amazing for the price,and the electrician, (my husband) didn't complain about the installation. I would definitely recommend it. We've also received lots of compliments on the fixture.
This light appeared to be exactly what I was looking for when I found it on this site.It was very carefully packed and shipped fast. The workmanship is excellent, as was the ease of assembly. Sure it is not a Tiffany, and the glass is not going to match exactly in every place, but for the price, this was an excellent value and one I am happy to have in my home.One caution, the lamp is a little bigger than initially thought. Make sure you have the room.
