The colors in this light absolutely POP!! It is in shades of light to dark rich red and medium to dark violet contrasted in shades of cool green and textured brown. The overall effect is something with a lot of depth and vibrancy. It encompasses a delicate elegance while maintaining a warm, homey feel. Straight out of the box and without alterations, it hangs down 4 feet. There is extra long cording which could be used to hang it from a higher ceiling if you wanted to provide a longer chain. This light does require wiring it into the ceiling. This was not a problem for us because we were replacing another ceiling light. My husband and son installed it in less than an hour including removing the former light. This light truly is an incredible bargain. We have a Tiffany ceiling light in our foyer we paid about 3 times as much for and it doesn't even begin to compare to the beauty of this light.

This is my second Tiffany Lamp and I was not disappointed in its craftsmanship. The colors and quality are stunning. BUT, I was quite surprised to find out that it had to be installed professionally by an electritician. I was purchasing a hanging lamp that I wanted held on a chain from the ceiling where my previously lamp was held. The picture was desceptive. It should be shown from the lamp up to the ceiling in order for me to know exactly what I am purchasing.

We picked this as part of a surprise kitchen make-over for our parents. As is typical with darker-colored Tiffany lamps, it's nice when unlit, and spectacular when lit. It gives off plenty of light, and the colors are jewel-like. The lamp arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

My wife used to make stained glasss lamps but took uo another hobby because you can't buy the glass for a lamp as cheaply as you can buy the finished lamp at Overstock. This is well made with good workmanship for the money. Thanks Overstock.

This is a beautiful lamp, especially when lit. The colors and reds, greens, blues and other shades. It does need to be professionally installed, and I am doubtful that the pieces are glass, they seem more lighweight like plastic.

A bit dark when not lit, but otherwise superb! Heavy - so two are needed for hanging.

The two lamps, after examination were found to be very sturdy in structure and the colors matched very well the colors shown online. This product is well worth the money. If there is a complaint it would be in the packaging of the lamps. Although they were packaged separately, they were not tight in the boxes. The boxes were coming apart when they were received, but the lamps were in good shape.

The lamp arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and was easy to install. The directions were virtually useless, but the assembly was straight forward even for a klutz. The design is excellent. The glass is of decent quality, and the colors are both vivid and well-balanced. The soldering lines are not as not as fine as one would expect with a custom piece (or I would do myself), but the roughness of the lines is invisible unless you get closer than about 18 inches. You could pay three times as much and get more precise solder lines.

It was so easy to find what I wanted, and have it shipped promptly. It arrived sooner than expected, and was more beautiful than the picture could ever show. I can't believe I got a Tiffany lamp that big, that cheap! I love Overstock.Com!

We changed our furniture for the holidays and thought it was gorgeous until this lamp arrived. It was easy to fit and we could even reuse our old chandelier's brackets. An excellent buy!

I bought this hanging lamp shade to go over my drafting table. It has the perfect lighting with two pull cords. What I really like the most about this lamp is that it does not take up any floor space. When lit, is a work of art in itself.

We love the appearance of the lamp but installation was a challenge. The lamp was assembled wrong and we had to redo it. The way it was assembled the pull chains were on top of the light sockets so with much effort we had to twist the socket so the chain would dangle down. Once that was accomplished my husband was able to install the lamp in our dining room.

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com and I was rather sceptical. Some of the other product reviews I had read were pretty scary. However, I was very pleased with my lamp, when it arrived. It came in good condition and the colours are marvellous. The stones give it an added charm. It looks beautiful above my round dining table. And the price did'nt hurt either. I got an electrician to wire it for me. All in all, a very good purchase. I will certainly purchase stuff from Overstock.com again.

This lamp is really beautiful glass and well made, All the necessary hardware for hanging including the round plate that covers the box in the ceiling and is sturdy and has a quality look and feel to it. Really good sturdy packing and fast shipping to my door. This lamp is a great way to brighten things up on these gray-dreary winter days!!

I already have a collection of Tiffany-style lamps, and the Southern Bell Hanging Lamp, which is now hanging over my sink, completes my collection. The shipping time was very short and arrived in excellent condition.

I was glad to receive this lamp in the mail as I'd ordered it before and after a long time waiting for it and two phone calls to different people my money was refunded as they said it was out of stock. I reordered the same lamp again and it finally arrived. I needed one with pull chains and there are very few that have the chains so I was glad to finally get it but it was a huge hassle.

I was a bit worried about buying these after reading reviews of the troubles people were having with the wiring. I bought 2 anyway and I'm glad I did. They are beautiful and it was easy to convert the cord to swag. Just a clip here and a clip there, cap the wiring reassemble and voila, ready to go. For some reason, though, there was some oily transfer from the lamp to my hands. Just be careful not to get it on your clothes. By the way, two things I fear: plumbing and electrical work. So, for me to say it was easy means it was like learning to boil hot dogs.
