Extremely unique. Both the base and shade glow adding to the lamp's beauty. Excellent workmanship. Well packaged - glass was oiled so as to avoid cracking during shipment. Easy assembly - even included the screwdriver.

I am very happy with my purchase. Its getting harder and harder to find lamps that have the quality of a "tiffany" , the standard that I use to judge all lamps. I have five books based on his lamps that I use to compare,and judge weather to buy.

This lamp must be one of the best deal on Overstock. Before ordering this lamp, I've gone to a few lighting stores to compare prices, and they want 3-4 times the Overstock price for lamps of similar size and intricacy of design. You will love the warm glow cast by the autumnal stained glass pieces, and the the lamp style will fit well into a wide range of interior decor. This is in our living room, and I don't mind the shorter fall days when I turn my beautiful lamp on in the evenings!

This is a beautiful addition to any room you want to ad the mood from the Craftsmen era. Though 2 feet tall, large for the center of our Victorian dining table, there it is. The pedistal illuminates in a soft glow, casting a warm tone, with 25 watt bulbs above, there is enough light while dining. Note that the pedistal uses a 15 watt bulb, do not go over that, the glass will get quite warm. Linda, and I play dominoes at night, after dinner under the glow of this lamp. This table lamp goes great with our Mission, and Victorian furnature, it's amber tones blend well with Oak. We priced lamps of this type all costing over twice as much, this was a good value. A beautiful lamp.

The lamp came on schedule, securely packed and was easy to assemble. It casts a warm, elegant glow in our family room.

Love this lamp. It's glow is so warm! Gorgeous!! Would recommend this lamp to all people who love stained glass.

The many little pieces of glass are NOT put together in the usual Louis Comfort Tiffany way in this lamp. This is not a detriment to its great looks, but my own experience is that it is unfortunately less durable. There are 4 triangular panes of clear glass in the shade and 4 long, narrow ones in the column. The stained glass pieces are glued to these panes and grout files the thin spaces between the pieces. Examine the underside of the shade and inside the column to see the panes.Recommend with strong reservations.

This lamp is gorgeous; it took a while to get here but that's OK, it was worth the wait. Very easy to assemble, the small bulb was already in place (thanks!); the colors are not quite true to the photo--it's more of a crimson and gold then the tortoise-shell look colors that are in the photo--that might be nice for someone to update the photo. That said though: very nice, I love the lamp. It has a nice heft to it. It gives our living room a cozy glow without being overly "cutesy." It's a nice rustic look. Love it!!
