I JUST RECIEVED MY LAMP AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL! THE ROSES ARE DARK,BUT THE LAMP IS SO PRETTY,IT DOESNT MATTER,I'M NOT SURE IF THE BASE IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A RUSTIC LOOK,BUT IT DOES,I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
Love the design, but the colors in the lamps are NOT what was depicted in the photo, it appears that they may have used a much brighter light than it was rated for to take the photos, moreover when lit the large roses lose all detail and look like a black blob. I would think it would be helpful to include photos of the lamps when unlit as well as when lit so that customers can better judge the colors. The background is a brown color and even when lit with a pair of 100w equivalent flourescent bulbs (tried to see if it would improve the colors) the background was still brown instead of the creamy color depicted. Still, I would have been ok with the brown color if it weren't for the way the roses look, there is no light coming through and the pattern loses all detail.

this is our 6th Tiffany lamp, but we were dissapointed with the sloppy craftsmanship of the lamp.

This is a larger lamp than I was expecting. Beautiful and unusual base. The shade is also very pretty. However, unlike high quality stained glass that has metal between the pieces, this has some kind of black tar-like substance instead. It doesn't detract from the appearance except that some of the black stuff (whatever it is) has gotten onto some of the white glass pieces and it will not come off. It's on there permanently, which does detract from the overall look. If not for this, the lamp would be perfect. The lamp is odd in that you can turn it off and on either with an in-line rocker switch in the electrical cord or by pulling the individual chains that operate each individual lightbulb. Usually it's one or the other, not both. All in all this is a great lamp for the money and I would recommend it. The defects are noticeable but not glaring and are far outweighed by the beauty. This lamp is very pretty whether lit or unlit, though certainly prettier when lit. I would buy it again if I had it to do over.

VERY NICE LAMP--COLORS ARE NICE--VERY DIFFERENT THAN THE USUAL TIFFANY; I HAVE THIS ONE IN MY BEDROOM. WORKMANSHIP IS GOOD ALTHOUGH THERE ARE A FEW ROUGH EDGES. OVERALL WOULD RECOMMEND.
