I was plesantly surprise at the craftsmanship on this product. Unless you tap the lamp you would never know it was basically plastic instead of glass. The colors are beautiful when lighted or turned off. Can't tell this one from the real Tiffany lamps I have, GREAT product, highly recommend this one.

I really love this lamp - beautiful workmanship, lovely glasswork, beautiful bright lighting, a bargain for the price. UNFORTUNATELY, the foot pedal switch on my unit is defective. It ceased working after a mere 2 days. (The light only stays on as long as you apply pressure to the button - as soon as you let go, the light turns off.) I have hired a handyman to come over and change out the switch for something more reliable. So, while I think the item is fully worth what I paid for it, I guess I also have to consider the $25 it is going to cost me to actually make it WORK.

Once out of the box, the first thing that surprised me was the size of the glass portion of the lamp and the weight of the base--the lamp is bigger than expected; but that's a good thing, and the base's weight is super sturdy, giving an appearance that the lamp's value is much higher than what I paid for it. The colors are deep and vibrant once the light is turned on and this casts a warm sheen on the entire room. It looks just like the picture, except that the bronze base is a slightly warmer brown.I wasn't sure how I would like the foot petal to turn the lamp off and on, but having used it for about a month, it's great. It's hands-free and I can always find it even in the dark to turn the light on. Plus, I've had several non-Tiffany floor lamps in my lifetime whose off/on switch located near the top of the lamp eventually broke from one too many turns, rendering the lamp useless or unpredictable. So, the foot petal is a nice option. Alternatively, I have another one of these lamps set up to work with a wall switch, so the foot petal isn't used on that one, and it works well, too. Either way, it's a good lamp and is a fraction of what other stores charge for Tiffany replicas.It takes about 10 minutes to assemble all parts; you'll need a screwdriver. Hint: Make sure that you screw each of the screws in not fully one at a time, but with a few staggered turns on each screw evenly to ensure that the top lamp portion and base are connected evenly all the way around. I bought another similar style lamp and made that mistake on that one. It's not tragic to be a little uneven, but up to close scrutiny it can show. [I turn the slightly uneven portion (0.33 inch) towards the wall on that one; you can't see it].Since this purchase I've bought two more of these style lamps in different colors/patterns and highly recommend them. They're high quality, relatively easy to set up, and add a nice warm touch of colorful light in any room that you put them in.The only complaint I have is the packaging itself. The brand of Styrofoam used to pack the lamp comes with a lot of small white fluffy parts that get everywhere! So you'll need a vacuum cleaner.

I thought this lamp was nice looking, but it just didn't quite fit in with my room decor. I tried to love it, but there was just something about it that made me think the price wasn't quite worth having spent on it...so I sent it back. It was pretty easy to assemble and seemed heavy enough. I know others commented about the foot pedal switch being a great feature, but I would've preferred a switch on the pole instead. Nice looking lamp overall, but not stunning.

A beautiful lamp and excellant value. It fits the Tuscan decor of my living room just perfectly. As always, it was so simple to assemble and was packed to perfection.I've been happy with everything so far from Overstock.com.

Our entire family is pleased with the ladies choice. My daughter helped me pick ... and the reviews had influence. I'm glad there was a mention of the foot switch as I hadn't noticed that feature difference until another buyer commented on how much she liked it. We do too ! The colors and pattern are elegant, husband had no trouble assembling, and it was clear he, my son and even picky grandma liked a LOT too. Thanks !

The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars overall instead of five is because I would have liked to have both a lamp AND a floor switch on this lamp instead of just the floor switch. The lamp is lovely; the light is soft enough for background but useful close-up. A wonderful buy!

My wife and I have been looking for a Tiffany style lamp for months. Most of the "covers" were marketed as glass but actually plastic. We have bought items on overstock before and been very pleased with the product description in relation to the actual product. Unfortunately, the product description said glass and we received plastic.

Absolutely stunning! Never expected this lamp to look so great since the price was exceptionally reasonable. Everyone who sees this lamp is awed by it's beauty.

I ordered a pair of the lamps for each side of a credenza in my office. I used florescent bulbs and leave them on all the time for accent. I have received a lot of compliments, and for the money, they can't be beat. I am very pleased.

This is a beautiful and sturdy lamp at lower cost than the ones you see in the museum catalogs. I had a little trouble putting it together, but when I called Overstock, they were courteous and helpful. This was my first time buying from Overstock, and I would do it again because the quality is high, the customer service is good, and the price is so reasonable.

I looked for over 2 years and waited until just the right lamp presented itself. It is not a Tiffany and the workmanship is not perfect but it is a beautiful lamp that sits behind my antique sofa and imparts a great ambiance to my room. Love the foot switch.

With values like these, I see why the U.S. is running a huge trade deficit with China. Eventually it's going to come to a halt, either through a continued steep decline in the value of the dollar or changes in trade policy; but in the meantime I'm glad I bought this lamp. With a 23-watt compact fluorescent bulb it casts a lot of light thanks to the largely white shade. The cabuchons and colored pieces of art glass are brilliantly highlighted when the light is on, and they provide a fine contrast to the white glass. Note, by the way, that as far as I can tell this and similar lamps are made with glass lampshades, not plastic. I've read a number of reviews complaining that the lampshades are a type of hard plastic. When one taps the shade it sounds like plastic, but I think that's an illusion; it's just the way lead-wrapped glass sounds. The lamp base is heavy, which is good for earthquake country. The pole, which comes in three pieces that one screws together, is not the height of elegance, but for this price who's complaining? And it's the lampshade one notices, not the base or pole. The Stryofoam-type material in which the lamp arrives is highly friable (i.e., crumbly). If you assemble the lamp in your house, you'll have to vacuum up many tiny pieces of the packing material after it breaks apart. I have bought five lamps of this type now, and I've assembled the last four of them outside.

It is the second one that I've ordered from Overstock. This one is even prettier than the first one. I removed the paintings from the wall near the lamp because I didn't want them to detract from the lamp.
