Assembly was straight forward and didn't take long. Colors are fairly close to what I was expecting, but I would have liked more blues and purples. It is perfect for lighting up a dark corner without glare and I have received several complements. The glass feels more like plastic but that is a plus since the shade feels lighter and easier to handle. The base is heavy and very substantial. I love the floor switch and the look of "Tiffany" at a very affordable price. Also kudos to Overstock for their speedy delivery.

Love It, Love It, Love It !!!! What a beautiful floor lamp! I can't decide if I should put it in my living room or my bedroom! The colors are rich and vibrant...I would recommend anyone who loves stained glass lamps to consider this one, you won't be disappointed!

I bought this as a housewarming gift for my best friend. She loves it. As other people have mentioned in reviews, the colors are not the same as pictured; the bottom/base part of the glass shade is more yellow/green, not the light violet color as pictured. It is still a very beautiful lamp and I would buy another for my own home if I had the room.

this lamp is perfect for a den or room where you need some light but no glare. It looks lovely and adds ambiance to an otherwise simple decorating scheme. the glass pieces are soldered together and covered with a substance that is not really smooth like quality stained glass but we are not paying Tiffany prices by a long shot. Good deal for the bucks!

I bought one of these a year ago and liked it so much I bought a second one. Individually they are both great lamps but I wish they were more similar in color, shape of the tiffany shade and the overall design. The two lamps look very similar but the placement of the light fixture on the second lamp is closer to the base than the first so the two lamps don't light the room in the same way. But for the price you can't beat these lamps - I've seen them in the stores for 2-3 times higher prices.

I was worried that I would not be able to assemble the lamp myself, however, when I received the lamp, it was very easy to assemble and looks wonderful in the living room next to my sofa. I have received many compliments on it. I am sorry I do not have the room for another one.

if you are buying this lamp because you like the colors in the picture on the website, DO NOT BOTHER!! I like my lamp and I'm happy to have it but it does not look anything like this picture. the colors are very dark and mostly green. There is no purple or ivory in it anywhere.
It was very easy to assemble and I love the step on/off switch on the floor. The worksmanship on the shade is only ok - its rough and chunky, looks a bit sloppily put together. All in all I think it is pretty to look at and a good deal as long as your expectations aren't too high

This item was extremely easy to put together; very sturdy and well made.
The only issue we have with it is the lack of lavenders and purples [as pictured] to enhance the brilliant blues - of which there are not enough. Much of the shade has creams and pale yellow pieces of glass.
It is lovely placed in a window with sunshine during the day and is a beautiful statement when glowing after dark.

The Tiffany-style Peacock Torchiere appears more purple or lilac in the on-line ad and less so in person. As a matter of fact there is hardly any purple color in it, rather mossy green tones and ambers. Still very beautiful but if buying as a purple or lilac accent, think again. This is shared in another review. Assembly was easy, same as the Tiffany-style Dragonfly Torchiere lamp I purchased a month before. Both lamps are sturdy but have slight (AND ONLY SLIGHT) flaws, not enough to return or feel I was taken by this product. Best to use a fluorescent bulb in the lamp, which raises the light "higher" in the lamp and illuminates the glass shade better. Conventional bulbs sit lower in the lamp and do not illuminate high enough to bring out the beauty of the lamp shade.

I had priced tiffany lamps for over a year and Overstock had the best price and I would say the merchandise is just as beautiful as any other I've look at.

It is very easy to assemble and very pretty. Much classier than our old halogen. I would've liked more than one light setting on it but we decided to use an energy efficient bulb in it since it only has one brightness.

The colors of my shade appear different than the online picture: no lavendar colors at all. When unlit, it's mostly blues and green, when lit it's mostly amber with electric blue cabochons and a few light blue pieces. It's pretty, but just not what I expected. The workmanship of the metal base isn't great - but for the low overstock price it's acceptable. There are 2 visible black plastic rings that can be seen where the base pole screws into itself, and there are several screws that stick out where the shade connects to the base. Otherwise the lamp works well and is pretty.

happy with this one, Overstock! Heavy base and very sturdy. Gorgeous
blue colors in the tiffany lamp itself especially with the light on.
I've been looking around town for about a year and the average price
was $125-150 range. So, saving at least $45 and having it at my door in
about 3 days was the cherry on top! Thanks, Overstock -- you came
through again!!
