The lamp looks good from a far. However, the glass is very thin, and overall the lamp is very lightweight. I bought it for the family room...however, already I've gotten another and this one will most likely find its way somewhere with WAY less traffic (like a bedroom, or maybe my home office) The metal stenciling over the glass is very thin too...so much that after a cleaning or two, I can see the flimsy metal strips cracking or breaking when caught up in a cleaning towel. It looks pretty though...but, if it wasn't a hassle to return, and if I saw it in person before I bought, I would not be owning it right now.

I had at least a dozen Tiffany-style lamps on my Wish List for Christmas and put this lamp as high priority. My husband was generous enough to purchase this for me and I was so excited to open it! But, I was saddened when I took the shade out of the box. It is a lightweight shade and seems to be defective. The base is pretty and I do love the colors, but two sides of the shade are bowed - they bend inwards so it isn't even straight. And, it seems a couple of other pieces of glass are crooked. It is made in China so I guess my expectations shouldn't have been so high I have purchased other products from Overstock and not been disappointed like this. I am going to see what the return policy is and how much of a hassle it will be. In the future, I will only purchase lamps that I see in person.

These are plastic shade lamps with attractive bases (I've purchased two from Overstock). Our local museum had them marked in the gift shop during a "Tiffany" exhibition of the real thing at double these prices. They look good with our Southwest decor and are well made.
