Tiffany-style Mesa Table Lamp

Searched for many weeks for the perfect lamp for our Mission style bedroom furniture. It's a match made in heaven. As other reviewers claimed, there was no oily film to wipe off, nor were there any wires exposed in the base. Also the shade sits perfectly, not on the bulbs, as one person said. Don't think their lamps came from the same manufacturer. These lamps,2 of them, were packed so welll, they could have survived a drop from a helicopter. Cannot say enough about these lamps, except to say, OS price was lower than any other.

As other reviewers have noted, the colors are definitely orange, the light color is white not cream or yellow, and the dark color is brown. These colors are perfect for our room, but the photo does show up differently. I think the base is fine and can't be beat for the price. It is an unusual lamp and you would expect to pay more for it.

I have some wonderful Tiffany-style lamps from Overstock, but these I had to return. Two problems: First, the colors are not at all what the picture shows. The dark red areas are dark brown, and the light red areas are PINK! Not just almost red, but pink as in "Pink Cadillac". This may work for some Southwestern decors, but most people will not find it acceptable. Second: The legs on the base are U-shaped, so the inside shows and though it is also dark brown it is not finished to the level of the outside. Also, there is a white-sleeved wire running up inside one of them and that is completely visible unless you put this lamp against a wall and turn it just right. You could probably slit that white cover (probably a lawyer-inspired item, not an electrician's) and only have the black wire which wouldn't be so obvious. But it will still be visible.
