Handcrafted using the same techniques that were developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s, this beautiful Tiffany-style piece contains hand-cut pieces of stained glass, each wrapped in fine copper foil.

A Pleasant Surprise!
The photo on Overstock.com do not do this lamp justice AT ALL! I was expecting an "OK" lamp when I purchased this, but when I set it up and turned on the lights -- WOW!!!! The glass in this lamp is SUPERB! It is EXTREMELY gorgeous glass (looks as close to art glass as you can get!)-- very nicely mottled greens, some browns and oranges (for the leaves) -- and there are at least 100 (maybe 200?) cabochons that represent grapes in colours clustered in sets of purple, green, blue, mauve, and gold. I've never seen a Leaves and Grapes lamp with so many different colours for the grapes -- which I must say, colour wise, are very close to those in nature. There is also texture the way the glass is placed -- some of the leaves are leaded to stand out from the rest of the shade -- something you don't see often at this price. This lamp is VERY under represented by what you actually get -- plus the intricate metal base -- definitely a winner!
