The description is inaccurate; the lamp is only rated for 60W bulbs not 100W as listed. This was purchased as a gift, I was embarrased as more light is required where this was installed, I will be purchasing a new fixture after the holidays. Light is also taller than listed, another problem in this location. If you don't need much light & have plenty of ceiling height it's pretty enough.

Warm diffuse light from glass bottom. The glass is the best part of the lamp. The rim it sits in is plastic and it appears that it could easily slip out (no clips or brackets for this part). I added a few dabs of clear silicon sealant on that side (where you can't see it) and that should hold it. The rest of the lamp is very nice and I ordered a 2nd one for my same room ...thats how happy I am with its appearance - it gives a much warmer light (soft oranges, yellows, and pinks) than the picture indicates.
