It looks nicer in the picture, and tall enough on a big desk. But the craftsmanship is rather poor, so is the material used. Anyhow, a cheap piece, as expected.
This is one gorgeous looking table lamp. Easy to assemble. When assembled and lit ,(I like a dimmer lighting and use two 20 watt bulbs) the lamp gives the living room a warm and stylish feel. Though I can't say for certain it is actuall glass, you cannot tell by looking. Even looking very closely, you cannot tell it isn't actual glass but some sort of resin (I believe). No matter, it's a handsome lamp that adds class to a room with the pulling of the chains that turn it on.
While the green glass just as beautiful as the picture, the center section is BRIGHT yellow on top and BRIGHT orange on the bottom. The colors are so garishly bright that I can't imagine using this lamp in any room of my home. I'm disappointed because the lamp is perfect in every other respect. I suppose I'll see if I can find someone to replace those pieces of glass with something more subdued.
Beautiful Lamps. Great price and good quality! Looked just like the picture.
I picked this Tiffany-style lamp because if was simplicity in design and masculinity. This lamp goes very well with my mission furniture. While the picture accurately represents the lamp, overstock.com description is generic and inaccurate. This lamp contains 16 pieces of glass (which feels more like plastic) and not "150 pieces of stained glass" as stated in the description. The outside metal strips that that outlines the glass are not completely pressed to the glass at some places. Overall, I enjoy looking at this lamp both at night and in the day time. This lamp illuminates better (IMO) with a 40W bulb, than 60W. I'm contemplating getting a second one, but not sure if it is worth the money.
It's solid and looks high quality, the glass colors are very pretty
