I had this sent to a friend of mine who done me a great favor as a Thank You, and she absolutely loved it. I did not see this as I sent it as a gift but the recipient said it was beautiful but did not come with a bulb which surprised me but not a major issue.
I ordered this because I loved greenish blue color. The color was even better than I expected, but there were other aspects that I wasn't pleased about. The lead band on one wing is coming loose, and you can see that it will eventually come off. This is not good, but I also was disappointed in the design because the light does not illuminate the butterfly, but rather shines up straight up, so the butterfly is not really illuminated at all. It actually needs daylight in order for one to enjoy the color. I was going to send it back, but liked the colors so much I kept it. Someone suggested a different shape bulb, but, so far, haven't found one, because wattage must be so low. I was ambivalent about this purchase and still am. Would not recommend it to anyone else.
This butterfly tiffany style lamp is just beautiful. It is much bigger than I thought it would be. It was a gift, and My friend was just thrilled with it.
